The only reason for my edit was to add a forgotten 'it' after 'get'. VCH must have read it wrong. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Alorael, I think you're a really swell guy. Well, for me, just "Hi, ben, you're really nice" works quite well. ...quit laughing. I am. I get it now that I'm alert for a pun, though I'm not usually prone to probing every posts for meaning other than the obvious. The italics helped much. Speaking of Canned, over at CSM we have implemented a new policy of in-between. So something marginally bad that does not quite deserve canning will recieve the title Semi-Canned, with, Canned or BANNED coming afterward as needed. That might be of use here, but I suppose a lot of people would get it right off the bat *cough*ben*cough*, so never mind. The only person I seem to remember being uncanned even once is FBM. Who else? -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Alorael is supposedly 56, and he still plays games and posts here a lot. There's nothing keeping you from doing what you want even if it's video games and message boards in your fifties. That's if you don't mind the likes of us teenagers. :P -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Wow, nice, man. :) Unfortunately, it appears that Jeff is as clueless as ourselves when it comes to Richard White. I don't know about the part that he's quitting programming, however. He still needs to finish GC2. [ Wednesday, August 31, 2005 15:31: Message edited by: Benny Boy ] -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Actually, on NBC Nightly News, it said that the hurricane originated in the Bahamas area, and moved west through the gulf and finally up. Because of the slightly warmer-than-average water temperatures, it gained power very quickly. This contradicts the usual starting point which is near the equator near Africa. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Ooh, interesting. I'm quite fond of programming as well as HTML. There's a web design class at my school, but there's not much there to learn for me. A) They have the right to demand it back. However, if Mr. C is so stubborn as to keep it anyway, only a court order is viable to solve such a problem. Personally, I say they should cut the thing in half. :P B) Whatever they can agree on. Since it's obvious that such an agreement may be hard-pressed to be made, I'd say just split it 50-50 again. C) No. When he bought the house, he had no knowledge that it contained stolen property, so you can't make him pay. Just donate it to a museum. Or maybe the junkyard. D) Not really. Yeah, that's what I was about to say. I tried out frames once, but they're so cumbersome and hard to get to behave right. And tables can split up your page into as many combinations as you can think of, are highly costomizable, look cool, and are totally awesome. Not to mention when you click a link it goes where you want it. Problem solved. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Alorael can hit the target enough times, which is what I voted. Whether or not one is enough. I am proud to announce I do have 10 fingers evenly distributed among both hands. Anyone who motions otherwise is a liar. Alorael would beat Drakefyre in an arm wrestle, but if me and Alo went for it, Drakey would win. Makes sense, right? -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Wow. I'm surprised that many of you guys consider me even deserving of a custom title. :P Alorael definately needs one. I think I'd just give him the title "Alorael" so people will know who he is. Then he'd quit changing his moniker and have himself a double name. Myself, well, I've always liked 1337 P057R, but I'd be just as happy with 1337 5P4MR or Permanent n00b. But despite it all, I wouldn't mess with my title, as Postland is much more desirable. Kel would get his wish. Arctic: Invisibles Beware Drakey: [Will be reversed shortly] Spring: The CSM Master But no matter what we change, it will all be over when Drakey undos all your hard work in 45 min. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Alorael's office sits safely inside Spiderweb's door and over the bridge. We couldn't let people that still have their sanities that far. It would make Arctic mad at the lack of invisible newbies, therefore causing him to concentrate more effort on breeding his fluffy turtles. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Class descriptions? Fun. 1. Band Usually pretty fun. Well, last year anyway. This year we have a new director, less than half the kids, and no drummer that can do anything besides basic beats. :/ 2. Sophmore Comp Lots of writing, but interesting so far. I have yet to see what's to come. 3. CISCO 1 Interesting, only we take a ton of notes, an underexperienced teacher, and have spent the last two days trying to get a grasp on the binary and hexadecimal number systems, which was not much new for me. 4. PE Finally a chance to mess around and have a bunch of fun. As long as we behave. 5. Biology Fun teacher, lots of notes, and too much emphasis on evolution. (Eh, whatever, I don't totally discredit it but don't believe in it fully.) 6. Algebra 2 Five days into the school year, it's still extremely easy. 7x + 2 = 16 I wonder. And I have to show every step. 7. Physics Pretty cool so far. We just did some talk on basic motion, free fall, etc., and today we got to propel straws across a taut string with a balloon. That was fun, though our average speed was only 4.21 mph. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

Does that have any relation to cold fusion? *Shoot. Perfect time to steal Alo's sig. Anyway.* I can see the problem with the silt thing, and I'm not sure how to fix it other than spending a bunch of money, but America does crave their electricity, especially for message board posting. Darn. No even aftereffects of the hurricane for us. Monatana is so safe. It doesn't seem as we have had any members affected, however. Of course, they wouldn't be posting here, but I sure hope our whole Spiderweb community is safe. Also, my condolences (traditional word by now I suppose) to everyone that was affected. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
