Wouldn't it have to be Worlds of Galactic Core?

—Alorael, who can't think about it. This is due to both implant influence and protective measures built into the human psyche by eons of random mutation.

Or an especially plausible instance of intelligent design.

Intelligent design is based fundamentally on the elegance of living things. Nothing pertaining to RWG can involve elegance. Thus, no intelligent design here.

—Alorael, who certainly knows that no intelligent design went into the games themselves. Excluding GC2, of course, but there is evidence that it designed itself.

The title of this thread makes TM think of desperance.

(RWG occured due to stupid design, trying to make a new form of artificial stupidity).

Very good, Ben! I see I made a wise decision in making you the leader of the White Shock Troops! With such impressive cunning at your disposal, I can see no army holding its own against you.

On the other hand, I'll make sure Wise Man gets a desk job. :P

I have this wonderful image of Wise and Ben throwing a grenade back and forth, and both getting killed.

A hydrogen bomb is a nuclear bomb. The difference is that hydrogen bombs depend on fusion where older and other bombs depend on fission.

—Alorael, whose undisclosed underground secret lab has nearly completed work on the first Ferret Bomb, which causes a violent fission reaction that releases thousands of ferret/needles and needle/ferrets upon unsuspecting victims. (The pairing was unavoidable. Physics dictates that the ferrets and needles must come in opposite pairs.)

Is that graphic sprite Kefka from Final Fantasy 6 by any chance?

A ferret bomb? Alorael, do you have any prototype pictures that we can see?

There haven't been any locked topics in RWG for a while. Let's keep it that way. Your extreme reciprocal violence can be taken to PMs if you so choose, but I don't want it in a public area where young children could get the wrong idea and do something regrettable.

An older prototype looked like this:

IMAGE(http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/1399/ferretrestoration1327vk.jpg)

—Alorael, who can't show you any current versions. For one thing, it's top secret. For another, well, i[Hey, look! This text was censored! You can't read it.]ost of the time.

But I thought ferret/needles and needle/ferrets were like matter and anti-matter, and they annihilate each other upon contact causing a super explosi.... Oh..... I get it....

But... Wouldn't that cause the sun to go nova, in theory?

Hmm...interesting older prototype model. I'm guessing that the original idea for the ferret bomb was for it to be mobile and not launched at a stationary position; that's just judging by the car curve like design and possible axels for wheels of the sort.

Since the new model is top secret, well, tell us when you do finish it up.

Interesting, Alorael. How many ferrets does it hold?

Really, Spring, get some elemental grasp of Ferret Physics before asking questions like this!

The bomb does not hold any ferrets. It produces them upon explosion, drawing the required energy from the air around it. From the design specs I saw when breaking into Alo's lab last year, depending on the environment, it can produce anything between 10^10 and 10^33 Megaferrets (MFr). I guess that has been improved upon now.

Then I probably mistook it with som other bomb. maybe it was nitrogin? i don't rememebr.

Ferrets. Why ferrets. Why not, say, chickens? They can have sharp nails, you know...

You, sir, are hereby assigned to breed the scissor/chickens. Perhaps they can be the arial counterpart of the needle/ferrets.
