Off the Spiderweb website after being introduced to Exile on a shareware CD.
What game did you first play?
Exile 3.
Why did you play it?
One could argue it was the best game on the entire CD.
What is your favorite game?
Probably BoE, though I don't spend a ton of time playing Spiderweb games anymore.

Chocolate bunny. Mostly because it usually has the most brute chocolate.

I still don't see sign of a repeating decimal. But anyway, my post rate used to be 5 or 6. In my glory days.

Anyway TM, I'm becoming aware that you are very well entitled to your own beliefs. Obviously Christians are just those weird wrong-headed sources of sub-par politicians that think dealing with terrorists will actually help the situation. Well there you go. I'm just trying to help with my claims.

I just said ben-bashing because, while most of it might not have been bashing, a few of those debates were everybody vs. ben, debates which I've half-heartedly set my mind to avoiding lately.

It would be cool to play Spiderweb games on the move, but a couple things make one reconsider a quick vote to "For". First, Jeff has never programmed anything for any platform other than a computer (or even a Mac :P ). Second, releasing it for DS means entering into mass production of specific cartriges, boxes, and other accessories that come with all the other high-dollar games. SW just isn't that popular. Keep making new games, Jeff.

It took you 110 days, which means that you did slightly worse on average than 10 posts per day, a brisk pace considering how long you kept at it. I did about that on my second thousand, but I've slowed down somewhat since then.

Anyway, congratulations, Dikiyoba!

I think that before Jeff can come in at some arbitrary moment and perform some inpacting administrative duty (such as banning Ash or locking debates), he needs to be much more active on the message boards. Obviously he's not been here much during all the religion, political, and moral debates and has not seen all the heated argument, bashing on ben, and obscene puns by TM. What might he say then?

It's okay if he's not on the board that much, but he shouldn't make administrative decisions directed at specific members or topics unless he has a good background in the level of acceptance of content here or, of course, it's obviously against the CoC.

could a game like exile be programmed with in The Exile Trilogy

I though Jeff was much more learned in C rather than C++, especially for Exile, but he could have expanded out a little for Avernum. With more and more features in each of his games, the power of the programming lanugage needs to keep up.

I read an article in Discover magazine about a site where you can control an electronic person and buy land, build house, exchange money, and pretty much live a second life. I don't know if that's what you mean by an ARG, but I could infer.

However, I've never had any intention to try something like that yet. Spiderweb is enough of an alternate reality.

*checks to see who got account 7000*
*congratulates Tyranicus, his buddy from a thread farther back*

I think if we are to figure out what is causing accounts to be eaten, we need to go back and have each victim tell us what they were doing to get their account deleted. Piecing together the similarities of all the testimonies, we should be able to pin down the location of UBB's secret trap door to the turtle pit.

The only way to heaven is through Jesus. If you don't mind be spouting views on a thread that asked for it. :P

I don't know though. Satanists just stike as the kind of people in the world that just aren't going to be productive citizens. All the gangsters, drunks, stoners, and so on. But then again, I'm sure some are real nice and loving, but they still won't get to heaven.

That's strange. Can you get http://maps.google.com to load? Frappr uses that as an interface, I think.

Also, if you mean the Frappr banner... well... just check the top of this forum. :P

Clicking that link crashed my browser. O_o

I used to play the clarinet, and then the recorder before that in fourth grade, so I selected them both. I would be still playing now, but my new school has only 6 periods instead of 7. :(
