Recently, after a week of particular boredom, I learned of the existance of a certain type of games, known as ARG's(Alternate Reality Games). One I especially enjoy is www.ilovebees2.com (Not meaning to advertise for this specific site). Has anyone else here had any experiences with this certain type of game? -------------------- I am an idiot. Posts: 775 | Registered: Friday, October 11 2002 07:00 |

Judging by your sig, you seem to be advertising them. EDIT: Well, as I posted this you changed it. So my post is meaningless. I've not played those games. The concept looks intriguing, but the site you linked to has such atrociously mangled English that it turns me off again. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. [Edit: Remove foot from mouth, chastise TM and hint that using "krauts" on Spiderweb is a bad thing. Check!] —Alorael, who has never noticed that Germans had much trouble with English. In fact, he has known a large number of Germans learning English, and many managed to not only become fluent but also learned to speak without any obvious accent. Never played an ARG. It sounds fun enough but my life is chaotic as it is. Phone calls in the middle of the night that I have to actually remember? No thank you. I read an article in Discover magazine about a site where you can control an electronic person and buy land, build house, exchange money, and pretty much live a second life. I don't know if that's what you mean by an ARG, but I could infer. However, I've never had any intention to try something like that yet. Spiderweb is enough of an alternate reality. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
