EDIT: I've just saved the pages, but I want to make sure I've done it properly, please excuse the complete lack of knowledge in this are and how stupid I'll sound.
I right-clicked on the page. Saved it as HTML. Then, to make sure it worked I transferred the info to another computer.
There I tested it and the page opened up well. So there shouldn't be any problem, however I want to make sure this is what you guys want before I continue.
Again, sorry if this all sounds extremely obvious to you all.

(not quite part of the competition yet. will add later.
(BiT: I vote for changing the title, the Historical Society adds a certain snobbish panache. Perhaps an additional word to Historical Society, to make it sound, er, more elegant? Perhaps we can squeeze in the qord incunabulum, though that certainly limits the scope of the society to pre-16th century and only books. The Richard White Incunabula Historial Society? Or The Richard White Historical Incunabula Society?

Don't know. Tried finding them using google, but the few links to their webpage I found, I couldn't access.
I found links to their games through Spidweb, but I wonder if the links were old.

Run away fast. As far as I know you can't stop quickfire (sometimes in some of the places where you can use is, you can get away through some secret door and thus escape it)
But, as long as there is a window, door, or any open space, it will continue to spread and spread. It's horrible!

If you're caught on it, how about doingf this:

Before you set it of, cast haste on your guys. Go into combat mode. And run. This allows you move much more spaces, so the quickfire doesn't bother you as much, if at all.

Love Spider Web games, I had never posted in any forum. One day, of of sheer boredome, I decided to see what this forum business was all about, lurked here for a while, saw that it was both informative, had some nice discussions, and the people, overall, were insane, smart and just bloody cool. So I joined. I haven't received a bomb on the mail yet, but somehow I suspect I may some day. I ask the sibling that happens to be in my house at the moment to open them while I go outside to check if it is raining or not. Just in case I need an umbrella.

This is truly a cool place. And the satellite boards I've seen (Desp, Polaris and Lyceum) are mighty awesome as well.

Nothing against nudism. Clothes have too many practical uses.

I hate the fact that nudism becomes a factor when censoring movies, for example, or even in television.
If a movie shows a pair of breasts, it gets a PG-13. If it shows a part of the male or female anatomy, automatic R. Why?

How is a naked body going to corrupt anyone? Do we not see ourselves when we shower? Though I guess more people than I've ever imagined shower wearing clothes. Explains a lot, I suppose.

Good idea making a small scenario during the time of Avernum 3.

You may even set it in one of the most remote parts of the continent, or maybe in a small uncharted island. This might work if the scenario is small.

You could play around with the word "gift" or change the "scare" after it for other words.
