I agreed with each of them in different games (that is I sided with each different one). I tend to like the Awakened more, but not by much. In one of the games I just killed them all. I don't care for the Takers, though I see their frustration and their reaction. Tne Obeyers are keeping the Status Quo, and the Awakened are fine, but they still ended up being squashed. Perhaps a mixture of Awakened with a bit more edge could work. They would need to be patient, work from the inside (maybe pretending to be Obeyers for a while) until the right moment to act, not with the extreme of the Takers, but willing to go to a violent level if the need arises. Hey David! I guess in SW BSC is fine. Yeah I left a lot of empty spaces, I was throwing a few ideas, it wasn't meant to be comprehensive at all, it would've required a far longer post for it to be so. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Wolverine: Oh, yes. We excell at that. FBM: Nyarlathotep is from H.P Lovecraft, he is the mind, soul, messenger of Azathoth and other gods from the Mythos. He's one of the higher beings in the Mythos "pantheon" that interacts more with humans, since he can change his form with unlimited choices. And since he is the errand boy, in a way, of those pesky gods, I'm not surprised to see him in Discworld. I was rather happy to see he had been seen elsewhere. I'm going to chase this game. (er, I've never read any of the Terry Patchet Discworld books, he also appears there? It'd be fun if he did) Oh, and, Wolverine: What's up? -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Rosy: BoA has woken from the nap it was taking. In the last couple of weeks or so, there have appeared a few scenarios, quite an explosion compared to the last month or so. It makes sense because people were making them during the silence. I'll say go with BoA. You know what Kel said is right. In the good way, of course. :) Whatever you choose, best of luck! -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Beautiful. Also, I was glad to see that the page in Spanish was actually translated from the ground up. This is so excellent!!! Are you excited about the "Super Earth"? -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

You can download any of the Exiles and take a look for yourself. They are rather nice games, and having more spells as well as more people in the party may be considered a plus. Also the graphics are wonderful. Geneforge is not that bad. Did you play the demo? Oh, and if you liked the Avernum, how about trying Nethergate, it was the first game with that engine and it's rather neat. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Have you tried e-mailing the list to Jeff? If so, did you get any reply? It seems that the list has some very good suggestions, and since you cleaned it up and organized it (you rock!), it shouldn't take Jeff too long to read and maybe he'll see something he can implement in Gneforge 3. Cheers! This happens to me about once a week (roguhly speaking), and usually not related to listening to loud sounds. Also, sometimes I have a bit of the "sea" sound (like you get if you listen to a hollow shell) and that also happens at seemingly random moments. In my case the second thing may be because I have an ancestral line that goes back to Innsmouth, MA. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Couldn't agree with you more, *Sound Effect.* And to take the analogy down a different path, running the risk of causing it great bodily harm, what may have begun as an attempt to offer explanations for natural phenomena, life, the universe and everything has changed, in some cases, into organizations that shape some people's lives. Some have become, in a way, Shapers, by using religion as an excuse to create paradigms of control and power. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

spy.there: it was a rather extensive search, and very dangerous. It involved four-armed mutated agents recluted from some of the Chernobyl survivors who now dedicate their life to create chaos and saturated anarchy (plenty of bad fat in it) around the world working for their evil masters of the Lyonesse Illuminatti. Can't say no more. (honestly, though, I went the lazy way and used the tool of Searching Internet Power. :) ) -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

We are serviles to God. Some are angry and defile the image of divinity, others act like slithering snakes and lick the divine's testicles, yet others seem to be more neutral. They accept the divine, but they rather go their indiependent way. We have tried to be our own divinity for a while now, messing around with the laws of nature and the divine's plan, trying to do what they (it) did. As for being anybody's property, this what Number 6 had to say about it: "I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed, or numbered! My life is my own." Which is cute to say, but oftentimes not that simple. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Conan would take Elric too. Only Groo has a chance of defeating Conan. Besides, Conan's pectorals are heftier than Drizzt's buttocks. There. I rest my case. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |
