Depends. They could be spies wanting to spy on the followers of Richard White. (Note that I am neutral in this affair.) Either way, you would let Alo join if he wanted to, so why not this lot? - Archmagus Micael -------------------- "You dare Trifle with Avernum?" ~ Erika the Archmage -------------------- My Scenarios: Undead Valley : A small Undead problem, what could possibly go wrong? -------------------- Richard Black - PROOF of his existance (the Infernal one's website). -------------------- MY FORUM! Yeah. Talking from nasty experience, you don't want to go around messing with the default items. It isn't pretty. Just think of all the worst items you've ever had - and clump them all together. Then multiply by 13. That's how bad it is! Yeah, but Rone is way too incompetent to be doing it on purpose - unless he's been a clever spy all along, just pretending to be senile. But if then - who for? What evil thing would make Rone turn into a bad guy? It's a brilliant plan (as evil plans go). Make you all gang up on poor Rone, then pounce for the slaughter. Oh well, we'll just have to kill the real baddie then - won't we? Just who is he? - Archmagus Micael -------------------- "You dare Trifle with Exile?" - Erika the Archmage -------------------- My Scenarios: Undead Valley : A small Undead problem, what could possibly go wrong? -------------------- Proof of Richard Black's existance: Richard Black - PROOF of his existance (the Infernal one's website). I don't know if this'll work, but this place needs SERIOUS livening up. So basically, what's your oddest bug out of the entire Exile Trilogy (NOT COUNTING BoE)? I'd say agent was the easiest. Because the skills don't increase in cost, tthey can be pumped up to amazing standards. Try running the game in compatbility mode. Select Windows 98 - that's probably the best. I expect you've already tried this, but it works. You could also try this out, but it may not help you much. This version I KNOW works on XP. (It's just a setup file but hey.) Using the battle Beta outside (luring out the golems) works well, in combination with heavy artillery (Searing Artillas) and stunning creations (like Glahks and Gazers). Vlsih are also helpful. Well, seeing as it was a complete newbie which re-started up the topic I can't rant and rave, so I'll have to settle for joining in. I play human characters only now, as I found a good team I liked in Avernum 1, and I decided to stick with them. So, my characters are: Micael Helena Arbok Adriana And we're nasty!... You have to destroy the Golems, and then talk to Berra. Asking him about evidence or proof or something like that does the trick. But you have to have destroyed the Golems first. WARNING: THis is from my (sometimes faulty) memory. Anyway, as far as I can remember, there's only a Efreet in that room. Thanks! Will do. Also, one more question: (again) Has anyone made a custom Syntax file for Crimson Editor. I was just downloading the latest version, and I noticed that it allows custom syntax files. So has anoyone here made one for AvernumScript? Thanks! I'll add the call when I have the time. Also, I don't want Gods to be able to open it. And with the 3D editor, it lets me put doors over 200, unlike the standard one. This makes sure that you won't be able to open it - ever! And for testing purposes, if people really need to access certain doors, I'll just make a custom item which opens all doors in a town. It aught to work. Plus, one more question. In combat mode, my testing party (testing it as it gets made) can skip past certain of my states. I've heard that there is a code to prevent this, but I don't know it - or how well it works...
