Personally, I never liked the Lyceum. I stop by now and again, but it probably has something to do with the fact that, before there was a BoA, It was all about Exile, a game I'm not big on. And pretty much all of the members there have an "Exile rules, Avernum will never live up" philosophy. Which is fine, but I disagree with it.

So basically, my personal view is that Lyceum is a great resource for BoE, and Overwhelming's site+forum, will be just as good a resource for BoA.

The louvre on the other hand, is quite nifty.

Wah!

Kel: I voted in the middle for both candidates. "could do better" or whatever it was. Am I the only non-extremist here? Maybe I should get me some beliefs.

Indeed, I thoroughly enjoyed high school. I might have been the only one though.

University on the other hand (or college for you Americans) was merely a string of binges and tattered memories. But at the same time, I'm sorry that I'm not going back this year.

Avernum 4 or Nethergate 2 in General

I'm not swayed by your "It HAS to be Avernum 4" arguments.

I'm going to say that either way its going to be an entirely new kind of game, whether it takes anything plot-wise from Nethergate or not, It will probably be a completely new gaming experience, as much as Geneforge was from Avernum.

Or maybe I'm just being an optimist. Yeah, that could be it.

Not to mention this belongs in another topic I'm too lazy to link, and even if it wasn't, it would still be in the wrong forum.

But really I have no problem with any of that. Just the name.

How could you possibly know if sequels to be released in the future are good or not? Do you have a time machine?

And if you do, could you tell me if Nethergate 2 is going to be good?

what was so bad about the golf thing? it was merely the way moore framed it so nicely in his film that made it look unwholesome. i think the fact that he was on vacation so much during his first year makes him look much more unprofessional.

Ugh, the crappy part is that almost everyone is so partisan, that debating any political topic at all seems pointless.

I liked the movie. It was biting and cheeky. I think Moore has a scary amount of power now. I like Michael Moore, I respect him as a filmmaker, and I respect his political opinions, though i may not agree with all of them. But the issue i see is that some people, almost exclusively young people, go see the movie, and come out believing it all as truth. Ah, but such is the power of film.

In conclusion... not as good as its hyped up to be, and I doubt its effect on the election will not be hardly as big as thats hyped up to be either.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go vote in the canadian federal election, which is today.

an RPG where you start out as a paige for parliament, and start out doing missions like getting coffee for people, and then keep gaining stature and doing more important missions until you become prime minister or something. a politically satirical RPG.

Does anyone else think there should be a sticky in this forum as follows?

Topic: Finished all the scenarios and looking for more?

Message: Open up the editor and start making your own, or if you are very lucky, wait for an editor to open up for beta-testing. Otherwise, just wait. There are no 'hidden' scenarios. What's there, is there.

By the way, this isn't meant as a snarky post against the starter of this topic. I think I just like sticky's.

In one of the scenarios (I believe its Diplomacy) there is an item called "dress of speed" or something like that. That will help.
