And if ANYONE here sends me spam, I swear I'll send George the Giant Pink Gerbil(tm) to eat your computer! >_>

~edit~

But I'm willing to beta test any BoA scenario, no matter how 'bad' people say it is.(I do, however, scan for viruses, so no Trojian Horses.)

I just added you to a few mailing lists hosted by porn companies, hope you enjoy!

Also, after hearing what the "testers" have said, I'm quite sure I don't want to even see that childbastard of a scenario.

To all of those that are allready testing the KaBOOM - Nephar thing I apologize...

I wanted to see if you really wanted to test, so I sent you lot an absolutely **** scenario.

The real scenario should be on it's way to you as I write, so please feel free to play it. The real scenario is called UNDEAD VALLEY.

Sorry to all of those that I tricked - I Had to get rid of the ones who weren't willing to perservere...

- Archimage Micael

And thanks to all of you lot who were defending me, but I was TRYING to make it so bad that it put people off. That way I could select a few people who persevered for testing the real thing... THANKS ANYWAY GUYS!!!

And ***Pig Catapult***, it was worse than 'BAD'. Personally, I rate it as 'MODERATELY TERRIBLE'. And no, I will not release it, not unless there's actually somebody who wants me to...

It's a scenario. I suffer from chronic boredom. I'll test anything. Can I beta test 'UNDEAD VALLEY'? Or have you already emailed it to me? *checks email* If you did, it's not here yet.

Discouraging someone is generally more excusable when a work -- such as this scenario -- is broken as designed.

WTF
Why, exactly, does it matter? You're not doing anyone a favor by allowing them to test for you. They're doing a favor for you. Don't be so stupid.

EDIT: Toned down.

I guess it's just a mean flair I've got. But I don't want too many people to test it now - because then no-one will play it when it's officially out.

By the Way, I forgot to say, Level 50 - 100 parties are better for this one, but I won it with a level 25 party, so it is possible - barely.

You didn't test it yourself. Either that, or you tested it and then didn't fix the glaring bugs. I looked in the folder. One of the files is "firtstowdlg.txt" when it should be "firsttowndlg.txt". I start the scenario, and immediately get a script error.
Test it and fix whatever you can, then release it for testing again.
By the way, people will play a scenario, even if you get 20 testers. The more the better. More people testing means more bugs will be caught. In addition, not everyone who signs up to test will send you beta results. So get as many as you can.
But not until you test it thoroughly yourself and fix whatever bugs you find.

Well, the first thing I ran into was that you can't leave the Wall from the south. You can only go backward. And with my compulsive mapping problem, it really upset me because I didn't get to map everything before I came to the Wall. ;_; I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it's anoying.

Second thing: As soon as I entered The First Tower..., the little text box thing that tells you what is going on says in red, and I quote:

ERROR: Failed to load Boom .

And it says that 46 times in a row. I counted.

REALLY.

I don't care if something is BAD or AWFULBAD. You guys say that when someone wants to fight a lot of boring monsters they make a scenario themselves. WRONG! The point is I DIDIN'T waste 15 minutes making a boring scenario -- someone else wasted his/her time. That means I win anyhow.

Also -- I want to see more scenarios - however bad it might be, it might have a few things that I do worse, so I might learn from it.

Yeah, guys!
Using the editor isn't simple and releasing a scenario is a good encouragement.
Plus, Micael says "A very simple scenario".
If you don't like his scenario, rate it, but please, be a a little bit cooler...He's doesn't have a lot of experience like you, who have perhaps done a lot of BoE scenario, it's he's first shot...

I honestly don't think neither Imby or ADoS have ever released anything (correct me if I'm wrong (and yeah, The Scenario doesn't count)).

I have, but it really wasn't a scenario. :P

It's not meant to say 'FIRST TOWN'. The Town that you start in is SMALL CAVE (town 1).

And I can't figure out the BOOM problem, maybe it's to do with the items I put there, but I don't know why. The Scenario is simple, but you get a good few special items. The middle room in the first town has several secret doors leading into it, you just obviously didn't search very well. And if you think you can do better - DO IT! Don't SAY - DO!

The Edge of the world thing I will fix as soon as possible. Has anyone found the Special Perseverance City Yet?

GUYS,

I've fixed most of the Bugs, and it's on it's way to you (again). I think you'll find that now that the BOOM thing has been sorted, the scenario will be a lot nastier.

Currently I have 7 testers. I've done a bit of changing, so I can hae twelve testers in total.

4 MORE TESTERS WANTED - TESTER POSITIONS OPEN - SIMPLE SCENARIO - BUT PLAYABLE>>> :D

Sorry, I got the names of the file wrong. It was "t3firtstowdlg.txt". I know you got something wrong, because the file before it is "t3firsttow". If that's the Small Cave, that may be the source of the error message.
