I am reminded back in BoA when someone (alas, I forget) managed to beat Diplomacy With the Dead with four fresh level one priests on torment, which was pretty neat. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |

I've decided that in my spare time I would return to reading the late Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, though for the life of me I can't find my copy of his fourth book in the series, The Shadow Rising. Hmm, it seems that while I did not enjoy what ended up being A4, A5 seems to hold more promise in certain areas than what A4 lacked in the dungeon department. On another note, Kelandon, if it were indeed similar to your Exodus, would that really be such a malady to our experience? I think not, but I am but one among many. Time shall tell. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |

It's scary when I checked this old unmarked folder and found the remains of my scattered effort in PPP2 just around the same time I was reading this topic... The ghost of the past haunts us all. Heh, I happened to be scrolling through here and noticed this, and I must say, it might force me to open BoA once more to play this once it's finished. Good Luck! -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |

Well, regardless of the processor, the only real problem that I see with the new one is that they went with an integrated graphics chip, although for what it's intended to be used for does not really require stunning FPS. -------------------- Life is short. Remember Deus Ex? Hell, I still play it occasionally; it had the perfect balance to its skill and weapon upgrade method. I ended up playing it with just a knife and a crowbar, creating fun tactics for hard situations. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |

Just one thing to mention, generally, most people upgrade either their RAM or harddrive to larger values. I for instance, have a 250GB harddrive and 1.5GB of memory on both of my computers. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |

You've decided to... erm... bludgeon an upcoming scenario with your wits? Alas, I have no idea other than what both TM and many others hope: a new scenario. Too bad that one was beaten down already :) [ Wednesday, October 26, 2005 19:31: Message edited by: JMAN123 ] -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Just in the assumption that you actually did complete the first book, the Eye of the World, there are eleven more after. Something to think about I suppose, seeing as that would be a nearly inhuman effort to make them in under a few years. Good luck anyway. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Or, if you have played Deus Ex until your eyes fall out, it's probably time to switch to something else. Though naturally it's a MMORPG, World of Warcraft is worth playing anyway. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |

Seems we now have more than just one diabetic hanging around these parts. I wouldn't consider it an addiction, more of a never-ending attachment to a continuous cycle of eating. I would have thought that after 12 years, it would be better. To bad it is not. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |

Well, I also find from a personal basis that I play games that also don't allow for cheating to occur without serious effort on the user's end to make it happen. Less chance of it occuring, the more fun it is, which is partly why I still favor Starcraft over all other older games. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. However, if TM were to change the way the Dark Idol fights, it would lose some of the challenge that makes that battle so rewarding, much like all the others in the scenario. Personally, I like the scenario for its complexity of each of its battles due to their uniqueness. [ Tuesday, May 03, 2005 15:14: Message edited by: JMAN123 ] -------------------- Life is short. If I manage to dredge up my lost scribbles in a word document relating to the beta-testing, I'll be sure to send them right on over. Unfortunately, it has been quite a while, so who knows, I may just have to run through it again. -------------------- Life is short. Use a Mac. Posts: 85 | Registered: Wednesday, July 14 2004 07:00 |
