I'v just started playing Canopy, and I'm at the bugbear village. I was wondering, at that mage that seems to kill your first charcter when he dies, do you get your charcter and all the items he was wearing eventually back?

IIRC, you can revive your character on the outdoor map at a healer in the Northern part for some gold.

Characters drop items when killed.

But, FYI, your character needn't die.

(To avoid dying, either have lots of HP or drink an invulnerability potion.)

(Nobody reads the readme. Half of them don't even know the readme exists.)

For my next scenario, I'm seriously considering making the image for the first intro text simply a large white background with red letters that say, "READ THE README!!"

Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens.
Smoo: Get ready to face the walls!
Ephesos: In conclusion, yarr.

How many bears could a bugbear bug if a bugbear could bug bears?

Oh, and while we're at it, Can a pea can a pea or does it take a committee? And what does it take to open a can o' peas 'round here, anyway?

We now return you to your home, home on de-range.

When I clicken the post topic button, I was thinking: "Maybe there actually is a readme file somewhere?" But as I already posted the topic I decided I was to lazy to look and left it by that.

Good. The world needs more people like that. For reasons I will leave ambiguous.
