Zephyr, you're being ridiculous again. You've got homing pigeons, giant fungus-rock-meteors, way too many shamans, and suddenly you're on friendly terms with every member of your species? Stop doing this please... the last thing we need is another Aerdiu character, much less a whole faction of them... quote:I do hope that you don't mean me. That party hasn't hit Valorim yet. Even if it did, they'd be going through the Karnold area first, on the grounds that running right up to the (ex)Hunters' door is a colossally bad idea. If it's really a sizeable distance from Vantanas to Valorim (as all the map debates have led me to believe), then I won't be there for another post or two. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Let's see... I definitely can't remember all of them, but here's what I can remember: -Becca, a fighter in Formello (just wandering around) -Wendy, a mage in Fort Dranlon -Assotho(?), a slith priest in Gnass -Stuart(?), a fighter trapped in the prison at Kothtar -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Wow... of course my computer dies during a period of activity... let me gather my thoughts. Goldenking, explain this to me: why would a faction dedicated to science of any sort ally with the Anama!? TM, Alec, thank you for giving the Hunters an appropriate end. What were the Slayers? When did that get edited out? And lastly, Goldenking: quote:McCallister should have no say in this. I'm coming for you. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Order of Krell The Order has deployed a small group to go investigate the remnants of the Hunters, and a large party to investigate the mainland of Vantanas. The city of Woodsmuir (ex-Imperial capital of Vantanas) is held by one King Accis, and the Order is currently trying to parley with him. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. Are you done screaming yet? If you're going to go ahead and make the item, and you're only willing to consider those 6 spells, then I see two options. First, you can make a Fireblast wand, since Fireblast tends to be relatively even with Arcane Blow (in my experience). Second, you can make a hyper-charged wand of RETRIBUTION!!!, since the current one is lackluster. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Hey, everybody. Just wanted to say that I'm going to be out of the loop for a few days. My laptop died last night, and I found out today that the hard drive is finally giving up the ghost. I was able to save some stuff to CDs, probably enough to re-establish my comp when it's repaired. And thankfully, I was able to save my BoA work (oh yeah, and my school work). But regardless, I'm going to be stuck with lab computers for a while, so I won't be posting for a while. Hopefully I won't be left behind. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. 1) No. I've personally had some rather potent items disappear from the Manse, much to my dismay. 2) I'm pretty certain that a stack is seen as just one item. 3) Um... I don't know. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. Um... you only included 6 spells. Why is this? I mean, I personally like the Daze spells, and used them frequently in my games. But in all honesty, my favorite must be RETRIBUTION!!! -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. (breathing heavily) Aran, I'm not sure if there's something in that link that my computer doesn't like, but I clicked it and everything died. So I have resolved not to click it again (this is after an hour-long scare wherein I was almost certain that I'd lost everything). Anybody mind summarizing the article? EDIT: Yep, there's a definite correlation between my clicking that link and my computer dying. quote:This is amazing. I may have to change my voicemail now. :D My suggestion: "Hey, this is _______, and I'm not in right now. Leave your message at the sound of the beep." (wait fifteen seconds) "Wow, you're persistant, aren't you? Still waiting for that beep." (fifteen more seconds) "This must be really important. Not very many people make it this far. Congrats!" (fifteen more seconds) "Okay, it should've beeped by now. I never did get this phone to work right... look, it'll just be a second." (five seconds) "Damn, I think it beeped somewhere back there. Rewind this recording and record your message after the beep that you missed. Sorry for the inconvenience." -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. quote:What's wrong with emphasizing the original holiday, from before Christianity hijacked it? :P </good-natured jab> I always liked how unusual the lumping in of Christ's resurrection with the old holiday honoring Eostre was, though... Carlos Mencia did an awesome bit about this. Something to the effect of this (it started as a rant about people crying while watching The Passion of the Christ): "Don't worry, it's a happy ending! He comes back, I swear! And that's why we hide the eggs!" ... "Jesus is coming! Hide the eggs! Look, we gotta tell everyone that from now on, eggs come from rabbits." "Why?" "So he doesn't take the chickens too!" -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. So... it increases health? What does that have to do with the apocalypse? And why did this need its own thread? Seriously... we're having enough "fun" keeping BoA 1 alive... why should we think that a BoA2 would be any better? (Personally, I'd expect the bug count to increase exponentially... Um... the site works for me. And Athron's in the Honeycomb. It's really easy to find if you approach it from the north by boat.
