I think people are trying to suggest that the expression ("my neck of the woods") was well-chosen for a discussion of trees, since, after all, the expression can be used with regard to anything ("I wish we had more cars in my neck of the woods"). This doesn't make it a pun or a double entendre; it's just a relevant figure of speech.

It's in the northeast, behind a door that Kenny is guarding. Talk to the other South Park-themed characters to find out how he'll let you in.

You can change the title by editing the first post. Also, don't double-post; edit instead.

Glad you found it.

You probably should've just replied to your own topic, rather than creating a new one.

There's also, um, a secret passage in the southwest corner of the town, going into one of the outside buildings.

I'm doing this from memory, mind you, so I may be missing something vital.

Speaking of this, actually, does anyone know if it's possible to get the old Wiz game for Mac? I had Wiz 1 for god only knows what old computer, and it still runs in Classic mode on this one, but I lost the passcodes that I used to have, so it's useless now.

There's a secret passage in that town outside that building along the north wall, sort of on the east side.

I am very confused about what you're saying here. It seems like you're saying, "Why doesn't he do what he's already doing?" The answer is: no reason, since he's already doing this.

Not to reveal anything about the game whatsoever, actually, which seems a little less strange.

[M]aybe the game should have some [powerful] spells, [ones that are as] hard to get [as] the [artifacts are]. [In this way,] the game could have a lot of good spells[,] but they would be hard to get [(or at least the best ones would be)].

[A]nd a crazy idea that [I had] was that the game could have some combat skills, [like D&D feats; that is, "fight moves," if you will,] something like Diablo[.] [I think this would be cool be]cause one of the better things [about G]eneforge was the variety of schools [of magic, i.e. Battle Magic, Blessing Magic, etc. However, the number of different kinds isn't as important as how different the kinds are from each other.]

[One] last thing[:] if the game is all linked [i.e. no towns, as mentioned above], the[n] why [couldn't] a [high level monster] get [into] the town where you start playing and kill you? [I] guess that this could be [prevented easily, i.e. by keeping high level monsters far away from beginner areas,] but [it] still is funny to realize[, once you've become level 50, how easy it has become to kill] the monsters that [you had difficulty with] at the [beginning] of the game. [Oh, and] how [will] the dungeons be added? [Will they] still be [separate areas]? [What about the different floors of houses?]
Good lord.

In answer to part of this, dungeons are just additional towns. Everything really is linked. This doesn't cause nearly as much mayhem as you might think. Different floors are supported, which means that not everything is completely continuous, but it's much more so than the old AT.

I'm not really telling anything that you can't figure out based on Jeff's statements, so I assume I'm not violating the NDA.

For the umpteenth time, scenarios are cross-platform except the graphics, and any beta tester worth his salt can make a .cmg file from your graphics in no time.

Okay, step by step:

1. Go to the entrance to Castle Putideum. I mean, walk outside and walk back indoors, just to make sure you're on the lower level.

2. Walk up the corridor and then turn left, heading west as far as you can go.

3. On your left, there should be a small nook with a door. (Note that THE FLOOR TILES LEAD YOU THERE.)

4. Pass through that door south and the next door to the south.

5. Now turn east down the hallway, take a small detour north, and then head east again.

6. Open the door to the south and enter the room. Note the trail of blood in the southeast corner.

7. Follow the trail of blood into the wall, where you will find a secret passage.

8. Read the book in the southwest corner.
