I find this one extremely harder then Exile Editor, mainly because when I downloaded this editor, I had just recently learned how to make the whole shabang scenario's on Exile, anyone else feel this way?

The editor isn't as versatile as MSPaint, but I've heard good things about the 3d version.

Also, there is currently a project to make a vastly improved editor for BoA. It will still be harder than BoE, but far less so than it is now.

Here's the 3D Editor if you want it. The versions available for download are officially beta versions, but they work just fine.

Also useful are my links to various BoA resources.

I agree - the BoE scenario editor is much simpler and easier to use. That said, the BoA editor is much more powerful.

I know that there is more stuff you can do and much more detailed things but seriously guys, I'm not even thinking about doing a simple training scenario. I can't possibly figure out how to do dialouge and some of the stuff is just WAYYYYYYYYYY too complicated...

Read the manual (it really helps) and then just dive in and experiment. Also look at the scripts from the included scenarios.

In the folder with the appendix is a file called Blades of Avernum Editor Documentation.

In the newest version, it downloads as "BoA Editor Docs v1.2". It's in the editor folder.

I started out with the BoA editor, and therefor don't know the BoE editor, so I can shut up or say that you people shouldn't start crying because you can't manage to learn it. EVEN I managed to understand it (after a month or so).

ehh... it took me a few months to learn BoE... I'm not good at learning new things...

EDIT: Well I finally know how to make a dungeon... not much new... but more complicated... Editor sometimes puts things where I don't want them to, but nothing that can't be easily fixed... Still don't know how to make dialog. From what I think its like coding a game... lemme rephrase that, its like coding a flash game, without using flash editor...
