indeed. since a singleton will naturally level very fast, it will hit the melee dmg-cap quite soon, so elite warriors bonuses wont be effective anymore. natural mage and divinely touched are obviously the best choices, though one could consider to go for natural mage only. -------------------- OH MY GOD IT'S THE FUNKY ****!!! what do you think about the new information and the screenshots of a4? myself, i am very disappointed. the plot doesnt seem interesting at all (more like a bad scenario from boa) and the 'new engine' stuff simply means its geneforge with a slith and a nephil. and of course, no word of any slightest change that mightve come close to anything weve discussed about for months in this forum... great. im not paying 25 bucks for that game. -------------------- OH MY GOD IT'S THE FUNKY ****!!! its not much, anyway. the largest quest you can complete is cleansing some nephil fort in the nw or something. a goblin cave, a nephar fort, some undead i think and thats it. it can be useful, if youre one of those "i need no towns i just wander around in the wilderness adventuring for months" - type of player. to me it seems that few people use alchemy though, some prefer to sell the ingredients, some dont care about them at all, and some keep them in their inventory for no reason like me. -------------------- OH MY GOD IT'S THE FUNKY ****!!! i think alorael said quite much all there is to say. but maybe i might add that you can take every drug in many different ways. you can chew it, eat it, smoke it, drip it (in your eyes for example), rub it, drink it, inject it, and a few you can lick. sry if i missed one. the most effective two are drinking and injecting. i assume the skribbane in avernum is possible to take in all of these forms, therefore i finally can make a question that keeps this post from me getting canned: why cant the player take skribbane in all these other nice ways or someone process it into the according forms? imagine buying/pick leaves on bigail and sell it in injections in gale.... mmhhhhh...... -------------------- OH MY GOD IT'S THE FUNKY ****!!! you enter pyrogs lair from the north. take a boat (either from the giants or from a small dock in empire controlled lands, i believe) and land on a small shore on the south edge of the north sea. move south through the secret passage. i think you have to talk to the vahnatai council before you can get through. as for angierach, i dont know what youre doing wrong. the barriers should be down after you use the phoenix egg in the south part of the tower. -------------------- OH MY GOD IT'S THE FUNKY ****!!! at later stages walking back and forth for healing can be very exhausting. i always have 1 type of food (greens, mushrooms or bread) on only 1 character, but lots of it. that way, it only takes 1 place of the inventory, but is very nice for longer expiditions. -------------------- OH MY GOD IT'S THE FUNKY ****!!!
