I have to say that we should definetely adopt a R256 W256 G256 colour scheme. Also portrayable as #rwrwrw. Also, brilliant if somewhat evil call. Like the fact that Kel has 4000 posts. EDIT IN REPLY: The link is intended to be broken. I figure I'll keep on making it more broken with every moniker change. You might notice that "www.kevan.com" does not actually exist, though "www.kevan.org" does. School would be great if I could: - Go to school at an acceptable time. 11 AM or so, not 8:50. - Pick what classes I wanted to do for the *whole* of my school career. I have to do ridiculous things like Geography and PE all the way up to year 11, and I had to do Latin until year 8. - Use a computer. - Be assessed non-competititvely (an exam that ranks my marks against a set standard, as opposed to against all the other students. - Not have homework. However, none of these are even remotely present in school right now, and I hate it. -------------------- ~Note : The professional newbie's advice should not be taken seriously, or at all.~ LINKAGE Posts: 364 | Registered: Saturday, January 17 2004 08:00 |

Dammit, running out of people to draw! Two more, these should both be pretty easy. Beh. I got the eyes wrong. Same difference. Anyway, green eyes look really weird on stick figures, so I'm just sticking to blue or colourless. (As you may have guessed, #9 was meant to be Riibu.) The modified version: #8 was slightly uncertain. If you don't get it this time, there's no hope for you: And a rather generic #10. I usually go by the name of Dallerdin. Bandwagon x3 is merely my current moniker. I wouldn't have to say this if I was active enough to be recognisable, though. #2 is indeed Drakey. I was going by the "four-year-old-child-in-a-control-room" version of the popular legend. #7 is Thuryl - meant to be holding some generic science object and a notepad. Including the most obvious one yet: [ Monday, August 22, 2005 21:13: Message edited by: Bandwagon Bandwagon Bandwagon ] -------------------- ~Note : The professional newbie's advice should not be taken seriously, or at all.~ LINKAGE Posts: 364 | Registered: Saturday, January 17 2004 08:00 |

Well, that's all pretty much right. #5 is indeed ben - I couldn't think of anything that distinguishes ben other than his religious views, and I don't have a picture of him to base the appearance of, so I worked with what I had. Nobody has guessed #2 yet, though. The peace flag is actually there because I couldn't think of anything else to draw in the hand not holding the copy of LoTR. The moon - well, the area just looked rather empty. Anyway, two more: -------------------- ~Note : The professional newbie's advice should not be taken seriously, or at all.~ LINKAGE Posts: 364 | Registered: Saturday, January 17 2004 08:00 |

I feel once again compelled to draw a few more of my mediocre stick drawings in the light of Archmage Alex's successes. However, if I drew stick figure scenes with multiple people talking, they would probably *suck*. So, instead I will draw particular people as ridiculously exaggerated and at the same time simplified caricatures. In order to give you, the people of Spiderweb Software Boards, something to do other than shower praise on me for my talent/derision on me for my lack of talent, I will refrain from naming the person they are meant to represent. There are (so far) only people from these forums who have been drawn. (Any accidental resemblance to real people is purely co-incidental.) Technically, Aran, you're not even on the list. You have Martin/Thralni as one entry when they should be two equal entries, making ou the eleventh name on the top ten list. Felt I had to point that out. It's also spelled villainess. Aside from that: The Master from Fallout 1. The perfect tragic, deluded villain, trying to destroy humanity for the good of humanity. Morgoth from LoTR. This one needs no explanation. Lord Foul from the Covenant books. He's at least as evil and corrupting as Morgoth, but he has a significantly less cool name. Nuurag-Vaarn from ADOM. I have lost more characters to Nuurag-Vaarn than any other enemy in the game. Honorable Mentions: Emperor Palpatine from Star Wars Sarah Kerrigan from Starcraft. Macbeth from Macbeth. LeChuck from Monkey Island. Raistlin from Dragonlance. SHODAN from System Shock II. Sepiroth from FF7. Even though I hate FF7. -------------------- ~Note : The professional newbie's advice should not be taken seriously, or at all.~ LINKAGE Posts: 364 | Registered: Saturday, January 17 2004 08:00 |

1. I can't really see why you'd need to do this. 2. I'm not even sure if it's possible. 3. People can still steal the pictures just by taking a screenshot, even if they can be somehow "protected". Personally, I'd suggest just editing in a tiny mark into each picture - your real name written in pixels, or the letters AM, or something, in an out-of-the-way corner of the image. That way, if someone does steal it and claim it as their own, you can point out the mark in the corner and say the picture is really yours. Also, several people here can't informedly say they hate them because they don't own Macs. I am ridiculously afraid of the dark, to the point of feeling very uneasy if it's night-time and there's a window from which I can see out into the night, even if there's lights on in the room I am in. I was also pretty creeped out by Achenar's secret room, although not as much as I was by the Whark Gallows in Myst II. That place was goddamned scary to a seven-year-old.
