I dunno - my post-WW2 history is a little bad. We do everything between them at college, not the effects.

Happy New Year, and all that stuff.

I spent it waiting for a phone call that never arrived. And watching Big Ben strike. It was pretty.

That is all.

I love playing "Street Spirit" and the guitar, but hate it one the piano.

And "Like Spinning Plates" is the opposite.

Both are Radiohead songs.

I only hope A4 doesn't include a loveable dog that follows your party. The cows were enough.

I'm mildly excited. Christmas morning is usually the time I feel festive, and then arguments over board games usually bring an end to them within a few hours.

Still, it is Christmas! And in case I'm not around tomorrow, Seasons Greetings to you all!

Buying the game ? in General

When you're outside the US, shipping and handling becomes a real concern. Nethergate cost me $42 all in, which is still pretty good, but is a lot more expensive than the $25 it is actually quoted at.

Because of this, and my lack of employment, I only buy the registration codes now. And as others have said, Jeff and Spidweb are really good at giving new codes to paying customers.

Ah. Egos. Gotta love them.

I'd like to be one of the many Merry's in Valorim post A3. Or during A3 - they never died!!

Either that or Avenum, in a major town like Formello, as a soldier.

Yeah, but at the minute, it has very few scenarios that are worth replaying. Or even playing. BoE though, has loads.

Hey Addison. Welcome to the forums here at Spiderweb. Lets hope you stay around, huh?

Well, I would start with the beginning game within the series, or Nethergate, but really, it's down to preference. If you liked Avernum more, go for that. Otherwsie stick with Geneforge.

But, the great thing is, you can download massive demos for free, so grab a couple and start playing!

Yes. Me and Alex say so. And two outnumber one... even if we are a crazy majority.

Remember - always give into urges. It's what makes us dangerous and wanted by the CIA. For "questioning"...

TM... this time machine (did nobody else notice?)...

If you are serious about this, you're telling people that you're going to kill them when they're already dead.

If you go back in time and kill them, they won't exist in this timezone, and so you're either talking to dead people (which are then answering you), or this time machine idea is one big joke...

What's more, if the time machine thing does/has/is happen/happened/happening, I won't be writing this piece of nonesense. Ergo, it's safe to assume you ain't gonna go back in time.

Edit: Typos. Which made my browser crash, hence the lateness of the clean-up.

I was once told the longest "real" word (i.e not a noun, proper or not, or a series of despcriptive words) was " antidisestablishmentarianism.

Although I wouldn't like to place any amount of money on that being right.

Yay! I've succumbed to the delights of a social life, and dropped down the rankings!

The real problem is a lack of threads with the opportunity to post within. I could start new ones, but they'd suck...

1) Pay Chris Martin to stop pretending to be bothered in Fair Trade.
2) Pay Coldplay to stop releasing "music" (and I use the term lightly).
3) Buy some kind of futuristic rocket-like device. Maybe a rocket.
4) Sail to the moon on aforementioned rocket.
5) Become a space millionaire/eccentric.

Anyway, I don't know whether to congratulate you TM, or cry that you've posted 6000 times. Sure, you're funny sometimes, and your scenarios are amazingly good, but the day when we congratulate you for posting is the day that... well, this is a family-orientated website. I'll say no more.

I'm gonna fly the flag for Championship Manager - and I'm sure Drakey will agree.

Between Spiderweb, ChampMan and college though, I don't have enough time to start any serious gaming sessions.

Ouch. I was 14 before I realised that by applying a little logic to it my rocket/banana/random projectile would be more accurate. Before then, I played using a complex system of guessing numbers...

I did get chess at an early age though - I learned to play at 6.

Edit: Wrong bracket in quotation.

Edit 2: Wrong spelling of "wrong".

Aran - that sounds amazing. Same thing happened to me once, but I forgot it all...

Anyway...

She like to sit and read in bed,
She thinks its cool to bleed deep red,
From the kitchen drawer she took a knife,
With two long slits she took her life.

I like the macabre-ness of it, coupled with the sing-song structure/rhyme.

It took 5 minutes, so don't be too harsh!
