If you could live on any of Spiderweb's game world, what would the game be and what would you do for a living.
I would live on the Avernum Series. Around the period of BoA. It's the kind of time were everyone is not bracing to go to the surface, they're are no wars, etc. Although everyone has a problem of some kind, just not to major. That would be my response. Oh and yeah, I'd be a mage, training to be an archmage.

Avernum. I love the idea of huge, inhabitable, subterranian cave systems, and there'd always be the surface when I got bored. Sure, Geneforge may have slightly more interesting flora and fauna, but Avernum does have its mages.

My second choice, of course, would be Lost Souls. I mean, come on. Who doesn't love utter desolation broken only by leafless trees, flat wooden bridges, and the occasional deserted stone towers and roads?

Exile II, and I'd be Erika. Except for the minor inconvenience of having to become a woman (all in a day's work), it's be fun to be insanely powerful and do all sorts of cool experiments, yet not really accomplish anything until the end of the game a few times.

If you think Lost Souls is futile, try Ocean Bound. Build a ship, wreck on an island, build another ship, wreck it again, repeat ad nauseum.

I think I'd to live during A4 in Avernum's surface holdings. Too many people get sick and/or eaten by monsters in the caves, but the surface is bright and sunny and Avernum lacks all the restrictions of the Empire.

Geneforge wouldn't be so bad, what with the creations to wait on you hand and foot, but all the rogues, uppity serviles, and rebellions might become a problem.

—Alorael, who actually thinks a strong case can be made for SubTerra. Sure, you risk life and limb, but you get rich! Rock Solid would be even better if it were actually a Spiderweb game.

I get the feeling I'd enjoy living in Vahnatai Lands. As long as it wasn't during a major war (and I had the gold to buy 5 Vahnatai Lore skill...), it would actually be fine, or so I imagine.

That, or post-A3 Valorim. Plenty of wide open space, with the occasional monster to hunt down.

Post-A3 Valorim sounds great to me as well. I think I would probably live in Krizsan. Of all the cities in Valorim, that seems the nicest. Shayder had the creepy Anama. Sharimik has the power-hungry mayor. Lorelei seemed too built-up for my tastes, and Gale had all that skribbane.

Oh, and I'd be a mage travelling the surface a few years after A3 (ie during the forties).

Post-A3 Avernum would be nice. With all that open space, you can run around and do stuff and nobody would care about it :)

Shadow: You're acting dumber than I was when I had the 'Shadow' moniker 4.5 years ago.

Ah. Egos. Gotta love them.

I'd like to be one of the many Merry's in Valorim post A3. Or during A3 - they never died!!

Either that or Avenum, in a major town like Formello, as a soldier.

Maybe you can kill that shadow, if killing shadows sounds sane.

I´d be a well-known paladin with mage powers, who´s going to hunt beasts like Vahkohs down. I really like Vahkohs, but he killed some people, maybe even sliths. :( :(

--------------------
You know, why the Sliths are green - because of their scales.

Maybe you know why some slith eyes were once red - ´cause the demons, which led them were red.

But why are the eyes of the Slith Lord Followers red? Because they see the remains of their enemies always before the battle begins!

Homeland

--------------------
In my first signature, I'd be tempted to say that maybe I'll change to Avernum. In the well- protected, monster plague free protected areas of the Empire that have Internet access. Unfortunately, my second signature will have to be more generic.
