Well, to start with, it's gotta be a girl. Not one of those "pretend" ones(whom I have no proble with. Usually I tend to go for someone like me, good sense of humour (yeah right lol!), devastaningly attractive and a good sense of humour. And a taste in music is a must. Edit: A DECENT taste in music. Does anyone know if Paladins from the AD&D world will be possible to create? The trait Divinely Touched comes close, but they also get additional resistances and bonuses. There is already a graphic for him in the Avernum folder, I believe it is a royal guard from Av1. Also, would it be possible to create other charcter classes, or even races, such as halflings? This would greatly help with my scenario. Thanks! [ Monday, February 09, 2004 02:52: Message edited by: SupaNik ] -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Would it be possible to take part in a siege, marshalling defences and such? This would be cool, and fits in well with a scenario I'm brewing up. If this is possible, will it be possible to control them, or even give them advice? Pretty self-explanetery really. What is your favourite NPC from all of the Spiderweb games. But reasons please people, not just lists... Edit: Oh yeah, mine is either Grah-hoth, because he is sooo powerful, and manages to return after banishment (with Linda's help) or Chief Spider (for comedy purposes!). I was browsing through the archives of Spiderwb History, more commonly known as the General Forum, and was shocked and appalled, together and at the same time,to see the hostility some people show towards each other. Not only is it "angrying up the blood" to steal a line from Grandpa Simpson, but it is putting of potential newbies! Me being a young 'un myself with just 60 posts am also sensitve and don't like it. If you don't like someone don't dignify them with a post. You don't look big or clever. That is all. And yes. I realise the irony of this post. Especially with my karma. A "good" anti-mac game is MacBlaster, a freeware shoot 'em-up akin to space invaders. But worse. A good anti-windows thingy is at Ircuser.org. Just find the Windows RG thing. God, I wish I could use UBB or whatever it is! Although as a Windows user I should hate Macs, I find them rather cool. And their Operating Systems have got to be better than Windows! Edit: Here it is: http://ircuser.org/files/winrg.swf [ Monday, February 02, 2004 02:46: Message edited by: SupaNik ] -------------------- Thus endeth this post. I'm not religious at all, although I often wonder about the afterlife and all kinds of philosophical stuff. I'd like to believe that you get into heaven by acting good and being a good person, but it seems that that's almost impossible. For me anyway! My mum says that all you need to do is be forgiven by everyone you've hurt or offended. -------------------- Thus endeth this post. O.k. I got a scenario idea: How about you and your friend walk into a town you were told would welcome you greatly only to be confronted by hushered voices and frightened glances. You go to see the person in charge: a priest with a weird red mark on his left wrist. He tells you that undead have been coming each night and "stealing" people, taking them away, never to be seen again. He is not to pleased to see you, thinking he can handle the problem on his own. You offer to find out and stop the raids, and he reluctantly agrees. You go to the surrounding ruins, and find some very interesting clues, and some human reamins: patrols that the priest sent out. The priest has banned his patrols from using magic, and has equipped them with sub-standard weapons. You return to confront the priest. He denies all of your accusations, and in order to make himself looks good, gives you an amulet that you are told will grant you extraordinary strngth. It doesn't. It makes you weaker and less able to do everything. You return to the ruins (or caves?) and are ambushed by a vampire. All seems lost, until a group of soldiers/men at arms/peasants from the town leap to your rescue. You join up. You find evidence that the priest is controlling the undead through the vampire, who he is controlling through a ring on his finger. The red mark enables the priest to see what the vampire is seeing. You return and confront the priest for what is o be th last time. A huge fight ensues. This is where (in my opinion) it gets good. you can fight till the last, and win or lose, or give up and flee. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? You might not wanna read this until you've seen all of the films.... Spoilers! The Oracle goes some way to explaining why Neo could use his powers outside the Matrix. It's all connected with choice. The same thing goes for Neo letting Smith copy over him (This made me think of a giant walking, talking floppy disk!). Neo had already made the choice, he knew he was going to end the war, but didn't understand until afterwards when he was fighting Smith. Actually, in my opinion, the rain in the fight scene was spectacular. Me and my friends loved every bit of it. The Zion fight was, in my opinion lame, as there was no need for it. The bit that got me though, was Trinity's death. It was pointless. I could have handled it if she sacrificed herself for Neo, but she doesn't serve a purpose in the second or third films. And to finish, I thought the Mirovingian (sp?), who someone called the "French Guy" was a very good character in Reloaded. He didn't play a big part, but was lots of fun to watch! My Favourite characters are Smith and Morpheus. What are everyone elses? -------------------- Thus endeth this post.
