I've started designing a website about Geneforge 1, 2 and (hopefully) 3. The first pre-alpha dev demo release ;) can be found here: http://www.seattle-sound.com/other/geneforge/ - im making it in the notepad and started about 2h ago, so it will take some time. I just wanted to show you the design and idea. What do you think about this version of the design? Is anybody interested in helping with the content? bestiary, weapons, spells, etc? Looks pretty good. You could do with bumping the font size up one or two points, but other then that I can't fault it. -------------------- KazeArctica: "Imagine...wangs everywhere...and tentacles. Maybe it's just my high resolution, but the font is still way too tiny. Other than that, it's a pretty good setup. Not that I have any right to complain. :P -------------------- We're all amazed but not amused By all the things that you said you'd do. I can help with strategy tips and information. And it looks like Dolney misspelled more than we thought ... -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! I, likewise, am quite willing to help out. The site looks quite nice so far. Perhaps you should contact Schrodinger, as he is the creator of both Geneforge FAQs. He'll probably allow you to use information off of the FAQs for your website, if you ask. -------------------- "Let a man find himself, in distinction from others, on top of two wheels with a chain- at least in a poor country like Russia- and his vanity begins to swell out like his tires. Well, I don't have AIM, maybe IRC? My email: dolny@pf.pl It is hard to explain what 'dolny' means ;) It's my nickname from high school, it comes from my name. I know that for people speaking english it sounds like a female name or smth. You can call me edward (a nick inspired by edward scissorhands :D ). So, try to contact me by sending an email or IRC. I can also install ICQ if you wish. -------------------- "We'll make you feel like you're 14 again." - Jeff Vogel about Geneforge. Posts: 16 | Registered: Thursday, January 15 2004 08:00 |

So anybody who's willing to help, please send me an email to: dolny@pf.pl :) PS. I made the menu font thinner again and fixed the text align so now it looks better ;) Making a site with notepad is time-consuming :/ I think I'll change the main site a little once I get my grade (I will use some WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver). Right now it's kinda boring to use only notepad. OK, I wait for your emails ;) Check the site in few days (probably I will do something new around thrusday - school sucks). I started a web page on GF2, but then tripod decided it didn't like me and stopped letting me work on it. I am somewhat in the process of transferring it to geocities. Oh, yes, btw, Dolny. You haven't been here long, so nobody is likely to tear your head off for this, but remember for the future: Replying repeatedly in one thread (with identical messages or different ones) without any other posts in between is referred to as 'double posting', and frowned upon. ;) And Drakey, I think this is another Dolny, not the one you seem to be referring to. Dolney with the e currently has the moniker 'guy with not so perfect grammar' or something, afaik. -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" S. I know that he's another person. I was saying that Dolney misspelled 'dolny'.
