How do you know we didn't just pop into existence five seconds ago and have all these memories imprinted into our heads? EDIT: Not that I am in favor of such a view though. Some of the times the mathematical reasoning behind the physics comes after the physics itself. The numbers are generally arrived at by good intuition and repeated testing. -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

59.7x^y = 35.9y^x x^y = (35.9)/(59.7)y^x Letting y = (59.7)/(35.9), x^y = y^(x-1). Notice if x = 1, 1^y = 1 and y^(1-1) = 1. If you divide by 35.9 and follow the same process you'll arrive at the other solution that Khoth spoke of... [ Sunday, February 12, 2006 12:14: Message edited by: Lt. That is a shame. It's unfortunate that so often these things are TM's fault. Goodbye... [ Saturday, February 04, 2006 17:28: Message edited by: Lt. Sullust ] -------------------- Lt. Sullust Cogito Ergo Sum Polaris Posts: 2462 | Registered: Wednesday, October 3 2001 07:00 |

This is probably a really bad idea. Are you equipped to handle chemical spills at your house? What happens if you accidentally make a very deadly gas, do you have some sort of ventilation system? -------------------- Lt.
