That is exactly what a friend of mine ordered during passover last year.

"hack" was referring to OS X on computers not made by Apple. It makes perfect sense; Apple doesn't care if you run XP on Macs because they want to sell hardware, and OS X comes on those Macs by default anyway, so they're not losing any money. On the other hand, if people run OS X on a Dell, e.g., then they don't have to buy a Mac, only OS X, and Apple misses out on a lot of money.

Also, whe you look at the character drawings of a Nephil partymember in Avernum 2, 3 or 4, you will see that he has 2 nipples, like every normal human.
No, they don't. The nephil have muscles, but not nipples.
Question for you Dikiyoba:

If Nephilim don't have nipples, then you can ssume they also aren't mammals. Do you think that Nephilim are no mammals, and why do you think that, if yes?

I think Dikiyoba's referring to the absence of visible nipples in the pictures, rather than claiming that they have no nipples.

So, if a scenario were to have no combat in it, what would be a good reward, or motivation? The trouble is that if there is no combat, then the party can really be any level, and so there would be no way to tell if items would benefit them or not.

Is advancement of plot sufficient for completing quests? (I mean "quests" in the loosest possible sense: anything that requires the player or the party to complete a given task) Or should there be something else? Flashy technical tricks? Special spells?

The reason I ask is that I'm not very creative when it comes to making combat, and I have no particular desire to be so because I don't particularly like combat myself. So, any ideas? I know some BoE scenarios didn't really have combat — how did they handle this issue?

That's weird... for some reason I read Shaper Lord's "toll" as "troll." What do the grammar police make of that?

I wonder if we could guess? I'd rule out anything that uses a roman alphabet, since most of those have the convention that "?", "!", and ":" directly follow the words preceding them without a space.

Your English is very good, by the way.

Bolding those that apply:

Vowel mergers/splits:
Rhyme: trap, bath (the vowels, anyway)
Rhyme: father, bother
Identical: cot, caught
Rhyme: foot, goose
Identical: Lennon, Lenin
Identical: pin, pen
Identical: line, loin
Identical: coil, curl
Final vowel of "happy" rhyme with vowel of "meet"

R madness:
Identical: father and farther
Identical: Mary, marry, merry
Rhyme: mirror, nearer
Rhyme: fern, fir, fur
Identical: horse, hoarse

L madness
Rhyme: salary, celery
Identical: fill, feel
Identical: fell, fail
Identical: full, fool

Consonants
Same middle consonant: Singer, finger
Identical: Heat, eat
Identical: Should've, should of (if you were to say "should of")
Identical: Wait, weight
Identical: Wine, whine

So, for the most of you that pronounce "singer" differently from "finger," how are the two pronounced? I pronounce them both almost without the /g/, and just with the velar nasal. Also, the "i" is very short and transformes into the velar "n" almost immediately.

However, profiles don't reflect banned status. When Ash was banned, his title stayed the same. I'm not saying that applies to TGM, only that we can't tell in general. I do agree; I think TGM's ban expired a while ago.

It's much easier for me to be reminded of books I loved by reading all these lists than to actually remember them without prompting:

One Thousand and One Nights
The Iliad; The Odyssey
1984
Hamlet
The Wizard of Oz
The Lord of the Rings

Is Flowers For Algernon a classic? I loved that one.

What's next? The plural of 'moose' is 'meese'?

Well, since the people who spoke Old English, from where the irregular goose -> geese and mouse -> mice plurals evolved, never saw a moose, and therefore needed no word for one, probably not.
