Please who knows how many scenarii are in beta-test at this time, and when they have to be released ?

It could be a nice idee to list them, with some informations as party level, possible release date, and a short presentation.

Some people are working hard for entertaining BOA fans, thanks a lot.

I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your questions. My only purpose in posting is to refer you this thread,

which you may or may not find interesting.

Two designers that I know of, Thralni & SupaNik, are nearing the beta test stage. Also, Niemand is working on a scenario, but I don't know how far that is along. My scenario is still quite far from the alpha test stage, let alone the beta test stage.

Stupid RL.

Information about the progress on my scenario (about half finished) can be found at my website, which can now be reached via my signature. I plan to post some screenshots soon.

Exxxcellent... it's been far too long since Cave of no Return. Serious scenarios are nice and all, but I like the occasional comic relief.

Hmmm..

Smoo was actually more directly responsible for Backwater Calls and Magus of Cattalon.

Nevertheless it is good to hear that the army is treating him well.

Lenar Labs has two scenarios in various parts of the pre-production stage, and has put our first on hold due to the fact that it is far too complex for amateurs to be handling at this point.
The speed at which we may move forward will be largely determined by whether or not the Silent Assassin tries to learn scripting and the possibility of adding a third member to our team.

What's a scenarii, I don't believe it's a standard English word, at least not US English, the language of use on these forums.

"Scenarii" is not English. It's Italian. And although the word "scenario" was originally Italian, the plural in English has always been "scenarios."

Anna knows this, because I've told her this before. I looked it up in the OED the last time she posted it.

Don't really count on me. At the moment I'm very busy with school, so although I only need to alpha-test (which is an EXTREME pain in the neck), it may take until the end of may before I get to the betatesting phase.

Just thought I'd say that, not to raise hopes.

The first time, yes. No, if you have been told the correct word before. People forget sometimes, of course. But it's hard to be patients with the word "scenarii," since it has the ability to mess with the BoA forums every time it is brought up.

I'm 90 - 95% complete. It's dull, hard work.

All I need to do though, is:

a) Finish off dialogue. Thralni said it was too basic, so I'm adding different dialogue choices that aren't plot specific.
(May take 2-3 hours)

b) Set calls to litter one town with corpses.
(10 mins)

c) Alter specobj so that it is only usable after a SDF is higher than a certain value.
(1 min)

d) Test.

So, as long as I'm able to sit down this weekend and just work away at it... well, it should be pretty much done very soon.

Edit: This came up in a recent MSN chat with Thralni...

Nikki xx says:
With me, its like a child.
Nikki xx says:
An ugly, ill-formed one, but a child.

I think that sums up "A Good Beginnng" rather well.

Yes.

It's less a typo issue and more a linguist issue. And there are many, many linguists on the forums...
