I like combat. Therefore, I like depth in combat. I enjoy tactical decisions when staring down some goblins. This is probably why I tend to like action-RPGs more than traditional-RPGs these days. Since combat would logically be a large part in saving the world from evil beings, I see no sense in keeping it so simple. Keep it simple, but not this simple. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

Just to clarify... dwarves were in Norse mythology, and elves were in Celtic mythology. Tolkien didn't create that. He might have influenced modern takes on the races, but let's not give him too much credit. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |

I envy you. Even though I heard this year wasn't as hyped up as last year and such. Perhaps it has the now-dressed Booth Babes? There's a lot of games I would've loved to get a play at first hand, but the great flow of interviews, articles, and movies to gaming-centered websites kept me sane. On a semi-related note, I've started playing WoW again... -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Posts: 1582 | Registered: Wednesday, November 13 2002 08:00 |
