I don't think he means illegal as in "federal investigation"-illegal. I believe it's more of a "quit being a jerk"-illegal. If he refused to take your stuff down because he simply doesn't like you, then that's just childish and you should send ninja assassins to his house. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! I realize you've stated that lessons are going to be possible... but if you can help it at all: get lessons. You might not believe it now, but having a professional teach you things like music theory is really the best way to learn anything about music. I just started taking lessons about 6 months ago. I've been a musician my whole life and I've never been better than I am now. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! Doom taught me to face my fears, regardless of any "odds". (psshh... odds) Ultima Online taught me to think about the way others feel sometimes. Quake taught me to think outside the box. We don't live in a 2D world anymore... Sinistar taught me that sometimes you just won't win. Mario taught me that shrooms are good for you. On a side note, this topic gains my Stamp of Approval for being the most original topic in quite a while. Edge of Cipirus is dead. Another is in development... a comedy: Saint Brevity and the Oochie Squad. Actually quite compelling if I can ever bring myself to make any more progress. Edit: Though... I'm rather positive that it would work better on BOE. But we'll just see... [ Tuesday, January 18, 2005 18:12: Message edited by: Retr-O ] -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! I can vouch (sp?) for BudK. I've purchased a couple weapons from them (battle-ready katana and greko blade). Not all of the stuff can be used for actual chore, ie. made for show, so read up first. www.budkww.com -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! I'm currently writing (off and on) a "fantasy story" which is done in the style of a Homeric Epic. Yes, it is indeed an epic, and will be very long when I finish. I started the project with the knowledge that I won't finish until I'm well into my adulthood. I'm on the 3rd book (kinda just started it), and so far it's about a young man who turns out as a savior to his people, with a little help of the Gods, of course. This is as much of a learning project as it is a constructive one: I've been researching the little style-oids of Homer and have been digging up examples of certain Gods' personalities. Quite fun. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! "I've never heard such thoughtful comments. I insist on proper grammer, and always will. I'm tired of "wut, u, there (in wrong contexts), were (supposed to be 'where')" and other such idiocies. Hah. Now, now... I know you'd like to "lay the smack down", but you are wrong. Think before you post. While I was only using Nintendo as an example, we'll stay with it. Nindendo owns rights to the games put on it's consoles, that's how they even get there. I was really thinking more of Microsoft and the XBox when I made that comparison, but whatever. And secondly, cross-platform gaming has nothing to do with anything I said. I'm sorry. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! I hope you realize that the DS is owned by Nintendo, therefore everything on it is owned by Nintendo. I also hope you realize that the console game world is much different than the PC game world. To make a game on a console, you must: get the rights (expensive), get the development tools (from the corporation, very expensive), have them publish/edit it (expensive), have them produce it (expensive), and them sell it (with you getting maybe 30% of profit). In other words, independent game-makers and consoles don't mix well. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly!
