True. Just to clarify, screenshots would be useless unless it was to show the new UI. Is it not still an Avernum game? Do we not still know what Avernum looks like? Obviously, story-bits and feature lists are the prefered poison. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! Ah, but I have played the demos. That's how I know I don't like them. :P As for the crafting, you usually take normal items that would otherwise be useless (ie, yarn, logs, crystals, ore) and CRAFT them into something useful (ie, swords, clothes, magic stuff, fires). This started as just a roleplaying element, allowing people to fish, cook, take mundane jobs for their characters. It's a good break from the dungeon crawling. But now it has real purpose, allowing the adventurers to make their own stuff. The trade-off is time spent, as opposed to going and buying the materials you'd be making. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! If you asked me (which I know you wouldn't), I think it's about dern time Jeff put some crafting skills into his games. It seemed to me that he always made games that would tailor nicely to it, yet left them out. Regardless, I'm less than fond of the Genoforge 'universe', so I'll probably be skipping this one like the rest. But perhaps I could be swayed by some nice reviews? -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! "I've never heard such thoughtful comments. Assuming most of you are too mature and healthy minded to skip the trick-or-treating part of this wonderful (awful?) "holiday", let's re-assume that you had the chance to do it again. --What what you dress up as?-- Stupid answers are not only tolerated, they are encouraged. Back when E1 was released. I don't remember what year that was, and I don't really care. I don't really play Spidweb games, just Quake 3 tournaments. My passion for PC games is dying... hopefully Half-Life 2 will bring it back. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! From what I understand, -- wait... I don't understand. Did you say it doesn't work only in E2? Or does it not work all the time? If it's not working all the time, then you'll need to either clean it somehow, or buy a new one. Don't whine, they are cheap. -------------------- DEMON PLAY, DEMON OUT! Of course skribbane is real, ben. I seriously doubt anyone could come up with all those symptoms and stuff. My sister used to do skribbane, but she got caught once and stopped so she didn't get in anymore trouble. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! Nudism, like every other lifestyle, is fine with me as long as you don't comprimise the rights of others. If someone tells you to not do it around them, then you should respect their wish. This, of course, is fine within the confines of your own home. -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly!
