Erm... Shaun Rehn was a Crows player, not a Port player... how on earth you managed to mix them up, we'll never know...

Hypothetical Time in General

A) Yes. Stolen goods, are stolen goods. Regardless of who the perpetrator is, or who is in possession of them. Mr C is an accessory to the crime, if he attempts to keep the stolen goods.

B) 100%. As above. If they dont want the money, the sale could be nullified, again, law.

C) No. It was not valuated anyway. The stolen goods had been destroyed. Mr C is not liable to the law, for Mr B's actions. Mr C was not an accessory to the crime, due to ignorance of the painting's presence.

D) No.

Apart from that, if you're going to make a moral/ethical hypothetical situation, you shouldn't make it so directly applicable to common law. The case scenario isnt a particularly exceptional one, and thinkgs would pretty much play out as I outlined above, to the extent of my knowledge (and if the said parties followed such courses)

Crows are the flag favourites imo.

I'm an Essendon supported so at the end of the day I dont care too much.

I think the Crows/Saints game this weekend, would make for the best grand final. I think West Coast have lost their spark, and dont have what it takes to win. They're a fair chance to go out in straight sets, losing to Sydney, then whoever they get.

Nobody in the bottom 4 can win the grand final. I'd put money on Adelaide, St Kilda, and maybe West Coast if they recover. Port have nothing.

Footy is great for beer and bbq's, I'm all for it.

Avernum 4? in General

I read a lot of the posts, and there are a lot of similar opinions.

Personally, I think I would've preferred Jeff to have made EXILE 4, than genAvernumforge 4. I just never liked the geneforge engine.

On a sidenote/personal note, while the plot might prove interesting, it's "location" is disappointing. I was very eager to see the Avernum series "continue" from A1-2-3, to a prodominantly surface-world plot. While it may still be involved, the description really points further "down" even past the vahnati caves.

I will play it nonetheless, but with less enjoyment than i may've. (and i think that'll be the bottom line for a lot of people, at this stage)

If my memory serves correctly, not too far from Silverlocke, there is an Empire camp, which is an unending encounter. Probably very difficult to take out on a singleton, but it allows you to pick up a lot of Steel armour/weapons/arrows etc, to make gold to buy potions from Silverlocke.

Good loop, when you're looking to boost your characters a bit more.

I did, and I agree with you on that point. I found them very interesting.

The subsequent derailment, however, borders on ridiculous imo =/

Unfortunate, to say the least.

A4: Official Releases? in The Avernum Trilogy

Amidst periodic lurking, I've been searching through A4 topics and posts.

Short of numerous plot theories by forum members, the only official points of reference I could find, were confirmation that A4 is being worked on, and that it will run on a new engine.

Am I blind, or is that all that is known at this stage? Forgive me if I have overlooked something major, but I am interested to learn more, particularly from a plot/contextual p.o.v, and simply could not find anything.

I have it on CD, for PC ben. It was good crappy old style. There was this one setting (or cheat, i cant remember) which would go back to the UBER old version, it was almost scary how few pixels were involved. :)

There are so many

1) Valedictory (graduation night deal)

2) Playing for the queen in a quartet representing the school.

3) getting head in the carpark (i know, im a simple man with simple needs.)

4) When we covered the whole basketball with benches/tables one night after a dinner thing at school, taking photos and all, then everyone freaked out the next day :D

5) Music Camps. They always rocked. Even without flute action.

6) International Gifted and Talented Conference. very very interesting

7) While captaining the badminton team, a victory over the top team, PAC. was just awesome.

8) No, i've had enough listing. I couldn't possibly put my finger on one.

I've never owned a console in my life.

However, i love my ZSnes =P

FF3 was my favourite, closely followed by Chrono Trigger, then Secret of Mana 1 and 2.

Moreso, does it make you feel bigger than other people because you can use a "big" word to simply say "crap"?

Talk about party pooper. =/

Generally, I hate the warnings that get sent around, but I have to admit that this one is important.

Please protect everyone you know by sending this to your entire email list.

If a man comes to your door and says he is conducting a survey and asks you to show him your bum, do NOT show him your bum. This is a scam - he only wants to see your bum.

I wish I'd got this yesterday.

I feel so stupid and cheap.

LoTR Movies
Long.

Being general is good when a) details arent necessary and b) you're lazy. There's no way in hell the movies were better than the books, unless you have a completely inept imagination.

Port Lincoln. Thats where the rich tuna horse-owning guy lives. And there is a K-Mart in Port Lincoln. And they catch fish there. And the aborigines drink petrol there. And the crime rate and unemployment rate is high there.

I am not a big fan of regional centres, albeit coastal ones, sorry dreamqueen. Adelaide for me.

I'm at work. I was worried the DL would finish before i could take a screenie, lol.

Anyway. I fail to see how an ftp would "work for some but not others" without the problem being at the client end, not the server end...
