Oh, Canada's different, but it's certainly not a whole new world. If you want difference, go to Québec. And honestly, I don't know why anybody would want to live further north all year round - New York's bad enough in the winter. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. The way I say Alorael, it rhymes with yeah-bore-say-pal; in other words, ah-lo-ray-AL. It does indeed sound like the name of an angel, which is why I'll never change that pronunciation. And frankly, I don't see how anyone could mispronounce Khoth. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. Over Jamie Foxx? I could have sworn he won. Are you pinning movies to their actors, or did Freeman himself get an award that Foxx himself was up for? -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. Poor Saunders. I'll vote 5 stars to help make up for it. Is there any chance that the old members who lose their accounts can be given access to old, unused accounts with low member numbers? Seems kind of fitting, and I've always liked recycling... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. I apologize for double-posting and bring a dead topic back to life at the same time, but I am still in need of help and preferred doing this to starting a new topic. I've decided on the Bloch concertino (titled Concertino, for flute, viola, & strings (or piano)), but I cannot find the sheet music. I've found several copies of "Concertino, for flute, clarinet, viola, & strings (piano reduction)", but I have no way of knowing if this is the same thing (although I found an odd site which implied that this is the case). Does anyone know where I can find this music? -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. My a capella club is singing Bohemian Rhapsody in a few months and I'm trying to figure out the notes of the chimes part about two minutes into the song, right after "shivers down my spine". The sheet music is mostly complete but those four notes are left out and theyr'e really bugging me. Can someone tell me what notes are played on the chimes right there? Thanks. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. In case of emergency, break glass. I've been sticking some mutilated vowel between the Z and the x to get a mix between zix, zex, and zux. The same vowel went between the u and the z, though I now realize it should have been a simple e. While we're on this topic, is Thuryl pronounced THUR-ill, or THUR-isle, or THUR-eel, or thur-EEL, or what? -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. True, and if you keep some strong creations around, there will be more to share the diminished pain. Trinity, you're probably right about the Agent - I haven't had much luck with her compared with my others. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. I've always pronounced it without the e, for some reason, but then I've never said it out loud... -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. Stughalf = STUHG-half. The L, for some reason, is not silent. Well, it is now. Arancaytar = (Aaron)-KAY-tar. Close enough. He sounds British to me, by the way, and I'm pretty sure he's technically American, though it may shame him to admit to this transgression in his distant past. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. You definitely shouldn't neglect your creations, no matter which Shaper type you choose. I successfully implemented Trinity's "squad leader" approach, and my Guardian is my best character by far. Keep your combat stats up, to be sure, but it's always nice to have a meatshield that does more damage than it takes. Also, I almost always use some sort of unranged weapon - if you do too, you're definitely going to want a ranged creation. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. Yes, if you're below 100 you should definitely sink some points into Intelligence. My Agent has several Drayks and still has enough essence for spells and such. Student of Trinity, are you by any chance a student of the school in Dublin by that name? -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. Sounds like a German fanboy to me - he uses oddly placed commas, which you or your father noted were common in the writing of English-speaking Germans, and slith-like esses as well. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy. I love all of your accents, especially that which I must assume was caused by post-navel stress. Creator, I had to play that several times and then reread the topic before I figured out it was actually you - I'm not used to listening to radio announcers off the air. You certainly don't sound like any American I've heard. I've only used my microphone two or three times, but if anyone wants to hear a bland upstate New York accent, I cn try to get it to work. -------------------- And though the musicians would die, the music would live on in the imaginations of all who heard it. -The Last Pendragon Polaris = joy.
