I don't know if it still works, but in Geneforge 3 I found you could kill people and get away with it by surrounding them with pyroroamers and then absorbing them. If it did enough damage to kill them, you still wouldn't suffer the consequences of triggering people being hostile.

No, I read a list in some thread, and for those creations there only exist 2 canisters each.

Well I read in a thread there are 3 main ending branches based on what you do in the final area, but it can be altered by many things such as if you killed certain characters, did something with some sort of power supply, give some sort of plans to the rebels or shapers, and which side you helped more.

Hmm, so unless you help the shapers, you can't get the advanced types of clawbugs, kyshyks(sp), vlish, glaahks, roamers, or battle alphas?

What if you do as it suggests is possible and play through the game without ever attacking anything? What level could you finish at then?

I kind of did every available quest for the benefit of the rebels. So does that mean no shaping training for anything but tier 1 creations the whole game?

Heh, I got the essence-infused skin from Turabi Gates when I first got there midway through chapter 2 (it took some trial and error, but with haste, it is possible to get there and out without triggering anyone attacking you. The trickiest part was finding a spot on the south wall before the turrets where if you stand just right they can't see you, then run into a building the the next round. Only problem is I don't have any demon bile yet.

The problem with 8 leadership, is even if you are helping the rebels, you can't get training from them in shaping except for tier 1 creations, just canisters. Thus you need training from that shaper if you want the advanced creation types.

No, what we should have is greater ability to customize creations beyond the 4 main stats, and for it not to be as overly expensive in essence to do so.

I always use stable creations too close to my limit to do that (if I make another, I wouldn't have the essence to do blessing spells), though I guess unstable creatures will allow more power in one battle for the same essence cost. It would make things difficult going through an area with a whole bunch of little creatures, but I guess they can make sense if you are playing an infiltrator or battle skill strong class, and don't usually keep creations, but make some of them for difficult fights.

Huh? I was talking about when he comes and talks to you when you leave after finding the camp (one of the dialog options makes him hostile, though without cheating he'll promptly kill you then).

In the south of the trap-filled entrance to the boiling mudpits where you fight that first crazed lifecrafter, there is a spot on the map noted as "magic circle", where there is a control box that gives you an option to send a jolt of power or to break it. Does anyone know what that does? I can't seem to make it do anything that changes anything else.

So, is it possible to kill General Crowley when he first meets you by the shaper camp?

One thing I'd like to know are the required shaping skill for each tier of creation, and if the advanced forms of creations need more.

When in the shaper keep, I talked to the trainer, and was told I couldn't get training as I hadn't helped the shapers and "you aren't persuasive enough to convince him otherwise". I have 8 leadership, and wonder if that is a red herring, or if higher leadership will let you get training without helping the shapers.

Well currently there are no translations into any other languages, and if translations started being done, I don't think Russian would be the biggest priority, as there are probably a few other languages that would have a bigger market.

Also, the number of points you have in that particular creation will add levels in addition to those from your shaping skill (so there is more point to that than the alternate creation type from having 3 points).

Yeah, it works pretty much the same way with spotting that England guy who steals (do that quest before you kill that madden lifecrafter, as when you do that, he is killed in a shaper attack). And as someone said, the guy who gives you the Master Threll quest doesn't leave, so you can still do that one if the caravan started.
