I'd have no problem giving up my privacy provided it went both ways. If the Prime Minister wants to know what goes on in my bedroom, I want to know what goes on in his office. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I think, by the way, that I have found a satisfactory answer to the question I posed: anyone who would claim that might makes right understands neither might nor right. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

If you mean that the monsters or non-player characters are invisible, that's because something is wrong with your copy of the scenario's graphics file -- try redownloading, and make sure that you have the correct version for your platform (Mac or Windows). If you mean that your player characters are invisible, that's odd. Could you post a screenshot to show us what you mean? -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! The best advice I can give you is to open up the scripts for other people's scenarios and see how they did things. Also, the Cookbook may be useful to you. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

It's actually a bug in the item abilities themselves; some of them don't do what the documentation says they do. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I'd ask you one question: why do you want to make a scenario? The people who have the most success finishing scenarios are people who design to tell stories that are important to them. What stories are important to you? -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

In English, the phrase "you know" often doesn't really mean anything. It's just something you say as a way of padding out a sentence. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

quote:Have you made any new friends or involved yourself with a new social group lately? Maybe you're afraid that the time you're spending with your new acquaintances is causing you to neglect those who have been loyal to you in the past. In general, it sounds like you have anxieties about how you're dividing your time between conflicting responsibilities. Not that I really believe in dream interpretation, but that one kinda jumped out at me. Given that there's a general perception that there's been some degree of rating inflation in recent scenarios, it may also be worthwhile to put a little note in your readme explaining why you're giving your scenario an R rating. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! None of the cheat codes have underscores in them. In this topic we're talking about script editing, which is something different, and you don't use the cheat window for it. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

To clarify: being asked to hold up the crystal 3 times isn't a bug (there are indeed 3 of them -- check your special items inventory before the fight), but being able to close the dialog box and have Rentar stay invulnerable definitely is. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure!
