I heard they made a movie of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band in the 70's starring the Bee Gees and Peter Frampton. The cast alone makes it sound weird. I finally saw the Lord of the Rings. It's not an old movie, but I found it very impressive. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." Heh. Around here, the only thing I hear much is "tu madre," but I'm not sure if that counts as an ethnic joke. So are they any jokes about my ethnicity? I'm mainly German and British with the German a bit more dominant. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." There was an amazing amount of occurrences in the news today. I never even saw this one. Though I've never even seen Dungeons and Dragons, I shall regard him with curiosity for a few minutes. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Actually, the puppet faction is the Hunters. You see, Goldenking pulled out, so his faction is controlled by everyone else. Frozen Feet did start a new RP if you want to join that. I don't have any objection to you joining here, but I'm just one of us. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." Name: Excalibur E-mail: int80 (at) sbcglobal.net OS: Mac OS 9.2.2 or Windows 2000 Professional...but you'd have to send me a zip file either way. Prior Experience: Shades of Gray, Tales from the Tabard Inn, and uh.. Muffins n' Hell. Whether or not you'll actually provide any useful feedback: Well, it depends on how you look at it... :P ...In SoG I complained about a quotation mark and the graphics not working. In Tales I had a bug with a horse not appearing, but I wasn't too helpful there. And Muffins...I drilled poor Iffy with typos, but at least I made him a graphics file. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." Speaking of the summary page, I really need to update that. Now is the time to introduce Diprosopus. As of right now we have four contributing members and a puppet faction. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but if you really do want to join, I think the only option is to take the place of the Hunters. I mean, if the others approve of it. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." Posts: 1384 | Registered: Tuesday, February 6 2007 08:00 |

Hmm...How are we going to decide the actions of the Hunters? We can't simply dominate them, so we need some sort of consensus on this matter. I think my most recent post is short enough. :P [ Sunday, March 02, 2008 11:53: Message edited by: Excalibur ] -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. XI Amniro "Skrrribane you say," replied Ferrrald. "I happen to know of a place." "Go on," Amarfrra stated silently. Ferrrald stroked his neck thoughtfully, "There's a certain glove shop in Lorrrelei. Perrrhaps I can get you situated." Shamgar regarded the conversation with dull intent. "Perhapssss then, " he said, deliberately adding an accent, "We should go now." The actions of the other two agreed. They left the small barracks and walked off towards their destination. Lorelei "So the Hunters have the bulk of their army in the Phoenix Empire. Ha!" Amadis remarked. "You know Luscinda, Softport would be an excellent location to moderate Skribbane shipments from Bigail. If Ferrrald and Shamgar ever returned any time soon, I'd have good sanction in the Keep of Tinraya as well." Instead of her usual behavior around Amadis, Luscinda stared in admiration. Of course, her share in the Guild would benefit, but nonetheless. Amadis stared thoughtfully at the ground, "We need Shamgar and Ferrrald to do this. Curses!" "Shamgar, Ivanhoe, Dahlia, and Vanval" A5, near the drake pillars. The party had just endured a tough fight with some slimes on Tobias's claim. After rounding the corner they saw a goblin guarding a secret passage. Ivanhoe shot the pest from a distance, which prompted the bugger to run away. The party stormed in, thinking these were typical, dumb goblins. Apparently, the shaman can deal fifty hit points of damage with a single fire bolt. Ivanhoe died unexpectedly, then the shaman covered Shamgar with acid. The remaining two, both spell casters, did their best with smite and lightning spray but it was in vain. A5, same party - Damaged Pylon quest: I couldn't figure out the vulnerabilities of the different shades quick enough. It wasn't until my second try that I realized the green shade is harmed by repel spirit, the blue by fire, and the red by physical damage. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. The storm that occurred the previous week had wreaked havoc upon the village. Most of their fishing vessels lay obliterated upon trees and boulders. In addition to that, a majority of their huts remained on the brink of collapse or already fallen. Fortunately, their storage pits rode out the storm. Some food was still salvageable, but only enough to feed the village for a week. Meanwhile, the whole population was out doing repairs... The area surrounding Antioch is composed of scattered trees, but mainly bushes bearing bad fruit. Shamgar stood their hacking down a poplar in preparation for constructing a new fishing boat. His troisieme, a traditional three-tined spear, rested against a neighboring tree. After hacking in excess of an hour with his stone axe, the tree finally gave way. Using what energy he had left he hauled it back to the village. Several of his peers immediately seized the log to begin carving it. As he reclined against a boulder, Shamgar noticed something odd. The lake had an unnatural tint to it, as if some pestilence had grabbed a hold of it. He went to the chiefs hut, the only structure in the village made of stone. He then noticed all of the fish in storage were strewn about the ground, as if they were spoiled. This wasn't good news. He ran inside quickly. The chief greeted him and explained the situation. The water was sour, the fish were bitter, and the wood was hard. The chief, by the name of Hogart, assigned Shamgar a dutiful task. He was to seek out the cause of this misfortune. Shamgar agreed and began preparations. He asked the local weaver to make him a back sack from the reeds. He collected fresh supplies and claimed a newly built fishing vessel. His plans were to ride along the coast of the lake in search of a cure, but first he had to rest. Tomorrow would have much in store for him. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." Much of their diet consists of marine life, and Shamgar is one of the villages numerous fishermen. He isn't of any higher rank than his peers, but he is the one chosen for seeking out the source of the curse. Other details will be elaborated upon in the IC. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." The idea here is to use Google Earth to provide images of places important to you, but I must explain how to do this first. * You don't need to download Google Earth to use it. Go to google.com and type in the name of your city (e.g. Winnemucca, NV, USA). If you don't live near a city you'll have to view the closest one and scroll around from there. If you truly live out in the middle of nowhere, I suppose you're out of luck. * Simply click on the Satellite tab to do this. If you don't want street names shown, hover over the Satellite tab and uncheck "Show Labels." * If you don't know how to capture an image of your desktop: -Windows: Press the "Print Screen" key (by F12) and open up the Paint program. Simply use the paste option to place your image in the program. -Mac: Command + Shift + 3 to take a picture of the whole screen; Command + Shift + 4 to take a picture of part of the screen. It will automatically save the image to your hard drive. * Use this site to host your image, which must be in JPEG format. All they ask for is a username and e-mail, and I can assure you they won't spam you and the like. You'll have to select the "My Images" tab and click on the photo you just took. Then all you need to do is provide a link here. And finally... My house, I also framed our property with a black trapezoid. My high school, it's actually quite a bit bigger than it looks. An image of the main part of town. I placed an arrow pointing to my neighborhood. A better view of town. The image doesn't encompass the numerous farms and ranches further down the highway that are bascially part of town, just not in city limits. Also note that Google Earth doesn't use up to date pictures; they're all taken at different times, about spring and summer of 2007 in my case.
