In Exile 3 I had a priest who survived through a whole field of lava not because of the Firewalk spell or repeated healing, but because her luck was six and she had several lifesaving items equipped. "Shamgar, Ivanhoe, Dahlia, and Vanval" Vanval thought the rat following him was rather amusing, but never thought about taming it. The party found the secret passage on the corner, picked up the goodies, passed by the basin filled with blue liquid, buffed up and charged. Apparently Lysstak wasn't much of a challenge. Leg Sweep skill and repeated lightning bolts finished off the job well. Good thing I kept those scrolls around. I've been having the same problem, though nothing has worked so far. The Mac version I downloaded from Khoth's site didn't even work, so I was forced to use the Windows version. Currently, clicking a scenario icon for the original JV scenarios doesn't do anything. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." When I finished Avernum I found some mild enjoyment by walking into a town and slaying everybody...I wiped out Spire if I remember correctly. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Never read the book or seen the film, but my father (whose name is Dave) had an error warning set for his PowerMac saying "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that." However, in repetition, it caused the computer to freeze. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." I'm still in, though I'm burdened with a slew of English homework I need to complete before the quarter ends. The main reason behind me disliking Hillary Clinton is she comes across as mean...and that I don't like her husband, but that's a whole other story. Actually, I don't agree with any of the current candidates, but I hope they'd do a better job than Bush. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. What's the point of texting people? Whenever I see people doing it, it's during a time they shouldn't be. So is there any practical use for it? It's as if these palm-length gadgets are going to destroy the English language. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." quote:Nevada is usually a pivotal state in the main election, though not as much as others. Northern Nevada is more for Obama and Southern Nevada more for Hillary, but neither voted much for McCain. McCain actually was a distant third in the republican caucus, and I don't know too many people who actually voted for him. Nevada's probably the most liberal state in the union, but also highly religious. However, most people wouldn't vote for McCain solely because of religion, but if Romney's his running mate then it'd be a different case. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. I was reading that Mitt Romney could possibly be McCain's running mate, which would be strategic for him, because then he'd have an almost guaranteed win in Navada and Utah. --- I think it would be cool if John Stossel was president, and I'm not joking either. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. "Shamgar" A5 - Northern Barrier in Tranquility I have this tendency to underestimate goblins in the game. I had just killed the first two groups of goblins, and after rounding the corner saw a fire lizard. Shamgar, a slith, is about 60% immune to fire. So thinking it's just one fire lizard I had Shamgar charge while the others stayed behind. Turns out there were five fire lizards and a goblin chief. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." Last night, while watching TV, my computer suddenly woke up. I thought something had merely bumped the desk, but then it kept waking up at regular intervals. Needless to say, I was rather freaked out. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." UBB has yet to adjust to daylight savings time. Is there any explanation for that, besides it happening on a different date? A very similar, if not identical, argument was presented in another thread. Arancaytar deemed your comments as a hate speech, which is in violation of Spiderweb Software's code of conduct. In this instance, you again seem to be lashing out at certain groups of people. Even if I'm incorrect about correlating your comments to the code of conduct, instigating two similar heated arguments within a short period of time is insensitive. None of us are whining and moaning Lepus Timidus. What you've said is in fact serious, but it also comes across as offensive or inflammatory and we don't appreciate it. Don't get me wrong, Lepus, you probably will defend your belief to the core which is perfectly fine with me. I was even like you once, as many threads in the past would attest. However, I don't do that anymore, especially since later on the people here changed my opinion because they actually bothered to argue with someone ranting out of prejudice. You don't need to change your opinion, just be careful with how you use it. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." I believe Arancaytar gave you warning in another thread concerning these kinds of arguments, I suggest you heed his advice. Now I never watched the video, so I'm probably being a bit intrusive. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Groups of guitars are on the way out." I was at a friends house playing a racing type video game. Nothing unusual except when I crashed into a building I was suddenly up in the sky leaving skid marks in my airborne path. Have you ever encountered an unusual glitch while using something electronic before? - Edit: Err, typo in title [ Friday, March 14, 2008 15:26: Message edited by: Excalibur ] -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound.
