You can make it easier by selecting the "no wandering monsters" option, but I never used it. The weakening option gave creatures half as many hit points, and didn't offer much of a challenge at all. Edit: realized this was about E2 instead of E3. Oops. I don't remember if you can eliminate wandering monsters in E2. Are you talking about the Troglodyte Khazi you must assasinate? There's a pedestal or something in the cavern with several buttons. Changing one of the values makes the walls inside the gate to the Khazi's lair move, and I usually solve it by writing down what button moves what. -------------------- Decca Records - "We don't like their sound. Oh come on, you're so accusatory. Have you ever spilled ink all over your hands before? It takes a long time to get it off, and though Nikki didn't do that accidentally, I think it still applies. *gah* [ Thursday, February 14, 2008 19:31: Message edited by: Excalibur ] -------------------- Drew - "Coincidence, correlation, or causation, I wonder?" I don't think gun availability should be restricted, mainly due to the second amendment. However, Germany , for example, has a homicide rate a fifth that of the United States., providing strong evidence that gun restrictions do have a correlation to murder rates. The second amendment plainly says people have the right to bear arms, but it doesn't imply a specification on certain kinds of arms. I'm sure Jefferson had guns in mind when he wrote that, but does his reasoning behind it mean anything? In addition, the wording seems to imply a necessity for arms due to a need for a militia. In a country where individuals theoretically represent the people in a whole, the "people" in the document seems to be in relation to the "militia." I'm not a constitutional lawyer, but the Supreme Court could deliver a modern verdict on the exact meaning on the second amendment. (Well, I think they have, but nonetheless) quote:It's as if using my actual name is going to intimidate me. You're getting upset over a stupid joke. I wouldn't be opposed to raising the voting age to twenty-one. Besides that, I don't believe anything should be changed. Forgive me if I sound stupid, but is it possible to distribute a year of archiving among different respectable members of the forum, who in turn host the topics on separate sites. The project could be centralized by providing hyperlinks at the actual PiedPiper Project. This is somewhat echoing Goldenking's suggestion nonetheless. -------------------- Drew - "Coincidence, correlation, or causation, I wonder?" Users should be able to select multiple options for the first question, disregarding how ambiguous it seems. ----- People, you're taking someone's mistake and making it even less constructive. "Evil" isn't easily defined, as with any abstract noun. However, it's rather safe to say that all humans are evil at heart. As Nicothodes suggested, pretty much any human achievement on this earth is the result of some sort of "evil." Life, yet another abstract noun, seems impossible without it. Whether you beleive in an afterlife or not, being on this earth would be without any kind of purpose if not for "evil." However, in discussing such topics, one must present their definition of the subject. In this case, I find it analogous to the relationship between hot and cold; evil simply being the lack of good intention.
