Evil is nothing. Don't confuse that with nothing being evil. Evil simply doesn't exist. There are but actions, and what we make of those actions is subject to interpretation. Eating kittens to survive is, to some, evil, but once again, it is simply an action. Western culture maintained that slavery was acceptable for a long time, but today's society finds it absolutely reprehensible. As I feel that Humans are naturally "evil", although I prefer "flawed"*, no I don't want a world without evil. Besides, then I wouldn't be able to eat kittens. I believe that evil is a matter of opinion, god said in the bible "kill the men, but keep the women and virgins for yourselves" to christans, satan is evil, but to satanic people, god is evil, for example is shooting someone who is running away from you evil? Well lets say the person was wielding an already bloody pipe and was screaming and running towards another person. Users should be able to select multiple options for the first question, disregarding how ambiguous it seems. ----- People, you're taking someone's mistake and making it even less constructive. "Evil" isn't easily defined, as with any abstract noun. However, it's rather safe to say that all humans are evil at heart. As Nicothodes suggested, pretty much any human achievement on this earth is the result of some sort of "evil." Life, yet another abstract noun, seems impossible without it. Whether you beleive in an afterlife or not, being on this earth would be without any kind of purpose if not for "evil." However, in discussing such topics, one must present their definition of the subject. In this case, I find it analogous to the relationship between hot and cold; evil simply being the lack of good intention.
