Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

More disguising knowledge with ignorance, in the hopes of gaining followers. Egor knows about Arctic. And Zeviz should know better than to incorrectly attach Arctic to the stigma of psuedo-squabbles. His was a different target.

This reminds me of when some people accused Iffy of being Ed. Don't ask me why though.

Why would anyone want to duplicate themselves in an alter-ego? It makes no sense--I would much rather be fully expressive within a single persona than play stupid games. Although I suppose it's not my place to question the vagaries of the internet.

It's when you say this a day after saying you want to participate in an RP thread that people come to think you're a troll.

An RP is a play set in a theater of which all parties are aware. My thought is, if you want to play more than one role in the same theater--meaning these boards in this context--then you might as well improve your first role before taking on another. Most theaters of all sorts tend to be cluttered with one-dimensional characters who are boring to witness.

Sort of reminds me of a friend of mine who used to refer to himself in the plural. I've never tried this myself, however; sometimes I have a hard enough time being just one of me.

That depends on where he's from. If he's from America (as you are, so you should know this) it's "theater". If he's from elsewhere in the English-speaking world, the UK or Nova Scotia for instance, it's "theatre". Personally I prefer the latter, but that's a matter for another time.

Do you laugh at an inside joke every time you hear it? I doubt it'll be funny every time, no matter how amusing it was the first time.

I don't mind them. I don't see why so many people call Diprosopus a troll either.

So what you're saying is only a few people are still laughing, because most people have already heard it enough. Why is it still being perpetuated?

Because there are always new people coming in and some of them will find it funny for a while. And because you've got no chance of stopping it while the previous sentence still holds true.

Take a look at my member number. Do I look like I have all the answers? Ask one of the vets.

Best I can figure, there's no harm done from it being perpetuated, so why stop it? *shrug*
