1. On a scale of 1 to 5, how would you rate a turkey dinner by mom/dad? My mother makes the most delicious turkey and filling (what we call stuffing here in Central PA) that I have ever eaten. 5. 2. Why are you using Alt-F4 instead of exiting from the game menu? Seriously, how hard is it to use the menu? Theoretically, I have glasses. I haven't worn them in over a year, and I'm not even sure where they are. I am very mildy near-sighted. I only need glasses to read things that are more than 100 or so feet away. Even then, if it is large enough, I can still read it. Since I don't drive, the need to read things that far away is hardly pressing, and since my vision is fine aside from that, I never wear said glasses. I got a Nethergate demo with an issue of PC Gamer back in 1999. It wasn't til 2 years 3 years later that I went to Spiderweb's site and found the Avernum series. In the fall of 2005, I was replaying Nethergate and got stuck. I just upgraded to 9A500n, and the games still run fine. There is a slight problem though. Leopard doesn't allow applications to create files in the root hard drive directory. The inventory portraits,as well as the absence of names from the character selection area are nods to the original Nethergate. Jeff was told about the automap in Annwn during the beta. A peculiarity of this engine (found in all games using it except the original Nethergate, which had a menu bar, and Avernum 3, which had an Options button on the main screen, is that you can't change the settings unless actually playing a game. Once in the game, press the floppy disk button on the bottom left, select Preferences, and deselect the checkbox that says "Play in full screen window." It is important to note that while the game no longer takes up the whole screen, it is not in a window that you can move around the screen.
