Does it annoy anyone else that the Celt in that picture is clearly about to get a gladius through the sternum, and all he is poised to do in retaliation is smear some woad on the Roman's shield? At least, it annoyed me when I was playing the Celts.

It does make me sad that the Celt looks like he's gonna get owned.
what I really wonder is who killed the goblin? It looks fresh, but neither the Celt nor the Roman has blood on their weapons.

A2 and A3 are the top games for me. I just can't wait for A5.

Exile 3 for that series. Avernum was alright but I always loved Exile 3 the most.

Geneforge I liked IV the most.

It depends which way the Celt's arm is moving. If he is already swinging down, he has a decent chance of lopping of the Roman's arm without getting a scratch. :D

Actually, the Celt downed an invulnerability potion right before the fight. :P

Dikiyoba's favorite game is still A2, though perhaps partly due to nostalgia.

I love playing Exile and Avernum!!!!
i just love being able to go where ever i want and exploring. i also love that you can do almost anything like, steal, or make enemies, do quests on your own time, and just have fun playing around with the world and features.

fantastic game! honestly, if it were a commercial game and got the recognition it deserves, it would be one of the best games of all time.
best games i've played thus far ever.

Welcome to the boards. If a game rocks in the forest, and it never gets shrinkwrapped, is it still a good game?
