I've alway known I'm chaotic. But by that, I mean "living for the moment", not anarchist. Evil is used very oddly here. Is capitalism evil? Is Satanism evil? I'm a great supporter of both. I've never known that selfishness = evil. Heck, I know a bunch of upstanding guys who are complete capitalists. They wouldn't do anything for nothing but in many cases they will do things for a reward in the afterlife where there is no proof that this reward will happen. Human I know is a given. I despise elves and hobbits, can't understand dwarves and gnomes and am generally anti-orc. Barbarian I can agree with, but not the steriotypical "break first ask questions later" kind, more like the "give me a reason to break and I will" kind. -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? quote:I know, I was an Adept, I was over and finished with being a Citizen of Exile. Then BAM! All of a sudden Stareye comes along and says "Hey, all you adepts, you're now being degraded to Citizens of Exile. And while I'm at it, I'm going to make the next rung is going to be after another 450 posts." Come to think of it, who wants to be a merchant? And then 200 more posts to the even more useless position of innkeeper. At least from there it's only 50 more posts to Adventurer. Exile must have quite a shortage of innkeepers if the time from becoming an innkeeper to becoming an adventurer is the same as arriving to becoming a merc. Shouldn't merc, adventurer and the like be on a different scale than citizen, merchant, innkeeper, etc.? What kind of merc quits his career to go become a vanilla citizen? And what kind of innkeeper is capable of picking up arms and going out adventuring? [/RANT] EDIT: Added quote for the new page. EDIT2: Typos. I beleive that's dependant on the others as well. If only one member of a group wishes to progress, he may end up progressing alone. No matter how much he wishes, he cannot make the others progress against their will. -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? Posts: 883 | Registered: Wednesday, October 19 2005 07:00 |

Might as well. Ohvol: NPC being played by me seeing as nobody else wants to have some fun with him. Largely mysterious character, all that is known is that he can shapeshift and cloud the minds of those nearby. Currently travelling from Mertis to the Great Cave for unknown purposes. -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? Posts: 883 | Registered: Wednesday, October 19 2005 07:00 |

If you attack a person where nobody else can see, the town doesn't get mad at you. Grindstone is the earliest place you can get this, but anyplace with these NPCs will have this. The archer guards drop yew bows and steel shields and the warrior guards will drop iron breastplates and iron broadswords. EDIT: Not will, can. These are their best drops. OoC: I decided to write a short IC, just to get the Ohvol thing going. -------------------- East of Almaria. It was a pity he had to turn away from his previous goals, even for a moment. The humans had barricaded the gates to the settlement spannining the river. They will pay. He could smell more humans to the north, but they didn't interest him now. Only the ones to the west did. There was a ford on the river north of the settlement, but he never learned or cared to learn how to swim before. If he fell into the river, his chances of coming out again were very slim. Perhaps there may be another way across the river. -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? Posts: 883 | Registered: Wednesday, October 19 2005 07:00 |

Chaotic Evil Human Barbarian Alignment: Chaotic Evil characters are the most 'evil' people out there. They are willing to do anything to get ahead, and will kill anyone who stands in their way. A chaotic evil person sees no value in order and governments, and believes to the utmost in the tenant that 'Might Makes Right'. Race: Humans are the 'average' race. They have the shortest life spans, and because of this, they tend to avoid the racial prejudices that other races are known for. They are also very curious and tend to live 'for the moment'. Primary Class: Barbarians live outside the 'civilized' They have tribal goverments, and are often nomads. What they may lack in refinement is balanced by there strength of individual character and ability to survive.
