I am thinking you killed Monarch and reported that to Miranda, but did not select the dialog line which separately reported finding Khyryk to her. Once you have finished the Monarch quest and reported it to Miranda and leave the shaper camp, next time you enter the camp, she has left and you can't report the Khyryk quest to her any more. -S- EDITed out possible spoiler. Regardless of how Jeff explains the presence and fuction of things in the Avernum realm, experientially for me, parts of the games distracted and disappointed me. For all practical visceral purposes, I was fighting robots, manipulating laser beams, and visiting aliens undergound, and none of this felt fantastical to me. It felt like sci-fi. I like my fantasy to be fantasy. Try to encounter only one wingbolt at a time. Cast some protective spells and battle blessing ahead of time. Hasting helps. Your cryoa should do some decent damage to a wingbolt. That's right. Once Greta has given you the caravan quest and you leave Northforge Citadel, everyone has left by the next time you enter the Citadel. The deal with Master Threll and the Deathcap Mushrooms quests need to be done and rewarded before you report back to Greta about finishing the Shaila quest. What can I say? Washington is a beautiful state. These photos are taken from one of my favorite hikes, up along a ridge high over Puget Sound on Whidbey Island, looking east to the Cascade Mountains including Mt. Rainier (and until 1980, Mt. St. Helens,) and west to the Olympic Mountains over the ocean in between.
