Actually it only says you need an external hardrive for backing up, not restoring deleted files by "going back in time". In addition, if you watched WWDC 2006, you will notice there is no external harddrive attatched to the iMac used.

I am sure that Apple thought about space optimization when they wrote Time Machine. I believe that they must have either used compression for the backup or dynamic code. I doubt it would use that much harddisk space. In addition, in repsonse to an earlier post, Time Machine has two functions:
1. To help with complete system backups, and
2. To constantly backup new saved versions of files; If you accidentally save over an old file, you can "go back in time" and retrieve it.

More exciting for me is CoreAnimation. This just may be a hint that Apple is working on developing more 3D things. Of course, one of my greatest hopes is the developement of 3D software to rival M$'s DX10.

Also, Dashcode will be lots of fun ;)

i think it was kind of innacurate, i think i am more leftist than that...

Also, the compass incorrectly defines an authoritarian left: The USSR was supposed to undergo an authoritarian socialists state until it could reach communism and therefore utopia. The ideals present in the authoritarian still were supposed to be anarchist. I actually would consider Stalin more to the right because of his decidedly non-communist ideals. The members of his party had all of the riches instead of earning the same as everyone else.

Top 10 reasons not to play runescape:
1) You could be doing better things.
2) They jokes are really cheesy and entirely fail to make you laugh.
3). To get rich you have to sell about 1000000 swords that you made, which means that going at half a sword per minute for steel swords (15 in a 30min mining/smithing venture) it wil take you about 3.8051751 years to get rich (assuming you are going nonstop).
4) To avoid beggars, you have to sign up for members, which is 5$ per month. This means that, assuming you are rich in runescape, you have paid 228.31$ to get virtual money.
5) Half the things on Runescape are cliché.
6) The runescape hand to melèe combat is not very good; you cannot move.
7) The armor system is stupid; it only has a chance of preventing damage. It does not reduce damage.
8) You can (if you are bad enough) be killed by a chicken.
9) You cannot swim.
10) The magic system is the worst system of any game I have ever seen (except FF8).
