What I like most about this system, is that you can ask something without everyone on the forum getting to know it. Therefor i don't know if the beta testing center is a good place for this. I think a few people should do it, like Ash lael. maybe not everybody. i think its best to let it be done by people who played many scenario's and make their own scenario's. People he really know what is good and what not.

Yes, why not?

You inspied me. I myself made a sort of small program called "fighting." Its not more than choosing a weapon, and a sort ofseeing if you win or not (hit or miss). But it works ( :) ) and that is the fun thing.

I would sure like to see it! Upload it whne you're done.

The Zoeterwoude chickens may be mad at me, but the Leiden chickens will always be my friends! :)

Gosh. that really sounded stupid.

What's wrong with die hünhe? Is it not good enough? Hmmm..... let's see.... A good band name for you....

Ah! Here's a good name for you!

The mr. pine apples!

Well, isn't that obvious? You'll need a hoe, a spade (that's right, Alex! :) ) but don't forget the almighty water hose and broom! (for the necessary cleaning up).

So what do you need a spade and hoe for? I'll telly ou that... As soon as i found out myself. But its probably used for burying the bones and feathers after eating)

Maybe I should work out a hole filosophy about this (or is it philosofy?)?

The only thing I fear of after readinf the description of Exodus, is the "time limit" piece. I'm not so sure I would like an other (allbeit improved) Zha-kazi run. I'm still waiting for it to come out. I love to see how other designers design their scenario's :P

I have some problems with the text bubbles that appear above characters in towns. For some reason they don't always appear. here's what I did:

//Town script for town 12: fort filbert

begintownscript;

variables;

body;

beginstate INIT_STATE;
set_crime_tolerance(3);

set_name(6,"Commander Johnson");
set_name(7,"Kellin");
set_name(8,"Lieutenant Furginson");
set_name(42,"Sergeant Peter");
set_name(56,"General Flamington");

if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(6,"All these problems");
if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(6,"What should I do?");
if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(8,"Should find succesor");
if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(8,"But where to look?");
if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(42,"Slurp... Slurp");
if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(41,"Zzzzzz");
if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(56,"I can solve puzzles");
if (get_ran(1,0,100) < 6)
text_bubble_on_char(56,"Yawn");
break;

beginstate EXIT_STATE;
break;

beginstate START_STATE;
break;
Does anybody have a clue of what's going on? The characters exist, that I can telkl you. It isn't like that I try to put text bubbles above characters that aren't there.

Oh great. Probably an other wild goos chase that will probably only bring us mor trouble Filbert thought. They started to walk in the direction of the stairs. The swords, still hanging on the wall, looked as if they where hanging lower. Filbert looked at it. I have the feeling something changed with that sword. oh well. Its probably nothing. he turned around and walked to the stairs. suddenly, they all where alerted by a bang: The sword had fallen of the wall! Tuulentekija slowly walked over to the sword, and touched it with a stick. When it didn't move and he was sure the sword wasn't alive or something, he tuned it round. Nothing unussual. filbert went and stood beside him. But... That can't be! "Guys!" He muttered, "Guys... the wall..."

"What's wrong with the wall?" cain asked, slightly irritated by the sudden panic about some stupid sword.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here." edith said, and walked to the wall, inspecting a particular brick. On it was carved:

---
-
---

"Its the symbol. the fishy symbol" Tuulentekijs replied. "And how do you think about my "demon helping ud theorie" now?" He asked Cain.

"Its all nonsence." he continued his clime upstairs. the others followed him, not happy, slightly anxious, but they still followed him.

I know that question was diected to kelandon, and I'm not kelandon, but what I did while making my outdoor fight cutscene, was indeed to just use graphpaper and a pencil. Averytime I made a new movement of the troops, i made a new drawing. This way you indeed have a lot of drawing to do, but its easy to keep track of things. And if you eventually don't know, or are afraid of loosing the order in drawings you made, I recommend numbering them.

Does this make you feel any better?

I'm afraid I have bad news. The graphic of that waterfall still doesn't work. I really don't understand this. I decided I'd cut out the hole graphic, and use the standard waterfall graphic. :(

Why would you do that? Is having the world's most dangerous chemicals in your bathroom cabinet appealing to you in someway? To me, the thought of wildly grabbing some sulphuric acid whilst looking for some aspirin doesn't make my smile. Unless it's in a comedy film starring Ben Stiller. Then it's acceptable.

My favourite compliment to say was "you're beautiful". Then came the court order...

Why? because I like to experiment, and see all the chemical reactions. its really nice to see a chemical turn green upon adding something else, and then hearing this nice bubbling sound. And no. they of course don't stand in my bathroom cabinet, but on a special iron table, under a window, next to a water hose.

And my view on guns is, I think, about that of Supanik's. i didn't have a gun, and I don't want a gun.
