Yes, that's right, but these are humans. The surface is their place. I don't think its really credible that you see the Vahnatai, an old and in my opinion mighty noble race, in every dying corner of the Empire.

a new threat in Richard White Games

This is serious. I was just thinking, if there's also a Richard black, then there maybe also is a Richard yellow, or a Richard.... We must get in defensive positions, bring out the needle/ferret (if that's alright with the creator) and scissor/chickens (alias PTC's) bombs! We must wipe out this threat!

Alway wanted to say that :)

All right, I'm pleased to see you didn't come up with that (I didn't play Bahssikava as yet, but I will). If there is one thing I really hate, then it is that in almost every scenario the Vahnatai sooner or later appear, doesn't matter how far fetched it sometimes is. Really, every scenario I played until now (except Small Rebelion and babysitting) contained the Vahnatai! How can they be in all places at once!

I just wanted to post this:

Me:
Please take a shower.
God:
Thank you for your request. Where do you want me to take it?
Me:
In the shower.
God:
That was a long time ago.
Me:
Yes, I can smell that.
God:
I see. Oh you can, can you?
Me:
Yes I can. I have a nose.
God:
How? Who taught you? How much did it cost? it.
Me:
Nobody thaught me anything. A nose is something you grow up with.
God:
That is a rather sweeping generalization about people. When is nose not something me grow up with?

I've never read so much nonsense in five minutes.

Well, here's my report too:

Me:
Hello
God:
Hello my child. What is your name?
Me:
Benjamin
God:
What's up, Benjamin.
Me:
All is good.
God:
How do you know?
Me:
I don't. But its weekend tomorrow.
God:
I haven't heard anything like that before: Benjamin said don t. I think you mean "it's" or "it is" not "its". You're kidding. it is?
Me:
No.
God:
Who says it isn't?
Me:
This is strange
God:
You don't say.
Me:
I did, as a matter of fact.
God:
When? How do you know?
Me:
Because I saw me write it just now.
God:
Oh. Good reason. What did it look like to you?
Me:
It looked super fluent
God:
You're kidding. it is?
Me:
Nope.
God:
Me either.
Me:
What is your name?
God:
My name is God.
Me:
Can I call you god?
God:
Just don't call me late for dinner.
Me:
Why not?
God:
Ambiguous: "Sure" or Reductionism.
Me:
Is this enough chatting?
God:
Yes I think this is enough chatting, but I'm not completely sure.
Me:
Why are you not completely sure?
God:
Perhaps later I will be completely sure.
Me:
Okay. I will wait then.
God:
OK with me too. OK stand by...

Okay, maybe I wasn't two, but three, but certainly not over five years old. If you play it, say, three hours a day, you can manage to almost get to that darn knight and beat him.In total I got, I think, about four times at the black night.

I already finished druids of Krell about two weeks ago. I also found out that I should go to the smith AFTER going to the Sanctum. Anyway, thanks for everybody's help.

Its indeed, as Ephesos said, not very hard to learn to use the ditor. I'm now busy with a scenario. Its about as big, or even bigger (it has about 20 towns more than I wanted to do in the beginning, but they all relate to the story somehow) than DoK. I'm now really geting the hang of it, although I still have to see if the instrument pannels I made really work.

The only way I know of counting the squars is to get in combat mode. When in combat mode, you se squars on the ground. An other method I don't know.

Give me a break, and Jeff.

If you really want this 3D graphics, then go buy dungeon siege or something, but don't come here. Avernum 3 graphics are in my opinion the nicest graphics around, these days.

I'm waiting for it to come. I would love to see it! Its a good idea. Are you also going to reconstruct the towns, do you think, or will that be to much work?

Anyway, I'm very anxious to see it, but don't make a hasty job of it. Take your time. (But not to much! :P )

Eagle!! Nice to see you back!!

You knwo what you are talking about, I thin, is Beyond Dark Castle. There you have to place five orbs in the main hall, in order to challenge the black knight. I managed to beat him after three days of intensive playing. Beyond Dark Castle is the easiest of the two. Dark Castle, the original was very, very, very hard. But I still managed to almost beat that stupid black night.

The controls aren't so many. They are very few, actually, when comparing even to Avernum. just walking, climbing, ducking, a "action" key, throwing tocks and aiming with the mouse. That's all.

Now tell me Eagle, where were you? How's your scenario doing? I remember you telling somewhere about a scenario you were starting with.

Now you mention it, I went to that lord, and he talked about not listening to anything the vampire says. Now I don't know how to listen to him , cause I killed it already twice. Does the door downstairs open when I talk to him?

EDIT: Out of pure curiousity, I looked in the scenario .txt file, and saw the source of my problems: The skull key. i need it to get past that door, but I don't know where to get it. Can somebody please tell me?

That picture represents about everything I don't dream about. My dreams are usually rather dull. This night, for example, I dreamt of telling my mother I saw somebody I knew that day. I actually did see him, but I only told her about it in my dream. I think I fell asleep of boredom after telling her that.

I managed to put it in the calculator. Apparently, I missed a right bracket, giving very strange answers. Now that I fixed that everything works fine.

I don't know the name of the program language. i just know I'd rather work on Avernumn script ona big computer screen, then such a small calculator display.

I really wanted, for once, to complete a scenario without hints, but I'm stuck, again. I'm busy with Diplomacy with the dead, but I can't manage to open that door where there should be a way down to some place where that Vahos sits. That prisoner talked about it. I strongly suspect needing some key or something, but I can't find it. Can anybody help me?
