Shipwrecked was not officially released by its designer. Bad Tyranicus for hosting it without an explanation. Mr Croft, this is your opportunity to learn BoA scripting and to fix the offending scenario. Many will be grateful. The Editor and other support documents can be found through links on the BoA web page. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I applaud you for your courage Zephyr. I too have a clean computer. Much scrubbing and several hard drive replacements, along with mother boards and monitors and pretty much everything except this keyboard, and I feel clean. Now to work on the woodgrain. I screwed up my earlier rating, it should have read .91, not 9.1. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I played Homeland for almost 5 minutes once. I was very disappointed in myself. Soon after I took an economics class and learned about sunk costs. Now I wouldn't even last 1 minute playing it. I give it a 9.1, for being stunning. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

C sharp, but some parts middle C. Works best when accessorized, but still needs a lot of support from the pit. I'll give a average rating of ... slightly better than a sharp stick in the eye. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I run Windows 2000, and have had no performance issues at all with G4. I surprised that this slowdown did not appear during beta testing, as it seems to be specific to the most common operating system. So, did any of the beta-testers see this? A bunch of folks as smart as this ought to be able to eliminate quite a few possibilities and figure it out rather easily. I heartily recommend being very wary of ZoneAlarm and memory intensive applications. On more than one occasion it has blown up while I've been editting graphics in Adobe PS. Standard caveat applies, regarding connectivity and such. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

quote:First rule of newb-hood. You think you aren't. quote:I object to being grouped with them. They are >6000. If anything, I should be grouped with Fatman. quote:This could have been more specific. Was the question refering to Ed Lemur? I assumed so, and voted no for lack of participation past the newb-stage. And who are the goofballs that voted for me? What perverse set of rules are some people following? Just because Drakey was drunk and gave me an asinine title doesn't make me anything more than a target for people like Slarty and Kelandon. Honestly, all I ever wanted was to be left alone so I could play N like all Vogel-fearing ubbians. *sob* [ Thursday, February 15, 2007 09:15: Message edited by: Spent Salmon ] -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

If you love her, and wish her to think loving thoughts of you, you will spend the entire day with her in the hospital. You will have arranged flowers to have been delivered several times. You will have communicated with her parents and told them that they can enjoy their St Hallmark Day plans because you are taking care of their daughter. Then do whatever it is she likes to do. Read poetry to her, play music for her, call people she wants to talk to, have food delivered (if she can eat it), and bribe the nurses to leave you in charge of her. In short, make her truly believe that you are the only person in the world she will ever need to take care of her. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I learned of this on the KoL Flaming pile of forum. I laughed. This is only tragic if her life had gone unremarked. As it was, it only makes sense. How else could she continue to get the media attention she so richly desired? -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Whatever happened to communicating via private message, especially when certain things are better left unsaid. Unless of course your intent was to remind certain people of certain things so that other things get done to other people. In which case, pffft! -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

It's time, or at least almost time. I'm sure there are a lot of people out buying red slips in preparation, or retaliation. I may be able to find something else, but on short notice this will have to do. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |
