Although I think that the Vahnatai in Vahnatai Caverns teach you some higher level spells…or maybe it's special skills…hmm… EDIT: Yeah, Zereen teaches you Capture Mind and Simulacrum. Well, in the cave withe the fork and it says "this is probably a dead end" on all fork trails except 1, there is a group of gremlins on an island and if you kill them, you can walk on their camp fire it says "You take the wine". You may think that's not amazing. Well, you can do it again and again. At the Spiralling Crypt (you need to have the boat), sail north until you reach a gap (should be on your left). Sail down the gap until you reach an island. On the island there should be a dungeon called the Lair of Casser-Bok. Once inside there is a portal. Send 1 select character in and talk to the Crystal Soul, who will ask you to give a message to a Vahnatai camp to the north. That is where the many beasts are. Give the message, and report to Casser-Bok. He sends you through a maze, also beast-infested.
