arg people...once again it's a reference to Alice in Wonderland, He even makes a point to mention something about a rabbit hole...so it's from that. Depending on whether you reference the story to drugs or not you could also associate it with the pill that he offers...So there ya go...

The white rabbit may be seen as a fertility symbol. I think the White Rabbit in "Alice in. . ." was a herald. A fertile herald who is good with procedure. Agh. As for the very important date, what is the date?. Is it a date as in calendar, a date as in a person (romantic or not), a date as in a fruit. The rabbit also symbolizes humility sometimes. In old christian themes it also expressed the whole idea of rebirth. Furthermore, let's not forget about the Rabbit in the Chinese horoscope. People born under that sign are said to posses intelligence, wisdom and understanding. Years of the rabbit, supposedly, tend to be years of diplomacy, understanding, emphasis on human rights and all that jazz. They are also difficult to deceive, and excellent judges of character. For the Buddhist it's a symbol of self-sacrifice and, back to the christians it's also a symbol of alertness. But it doesn't seem likely Kel was born under the year of the Rabbit (75 or 87, or 63 for that matter).

Maybe it all has to do with golf and dates and pills and drugs and importance and fertility and. Ah.

Aran is pregnant and is going to have Kel's baby. No. Wait. Will. Or maybe both will donate sperm to some bank in hope that the future of the human race will be spread with their genetic code.

K&A? Why are those two letters important? Kiekegaard & Andersen? How are they connected? Is that why Alice is involved if at all? But. . . it boggles the mind.

Er (not Ur!)okay. Bye.

At the beginning of the first film, Neo was instructed to "follow the white rabbit," which appeared as a tattoo on the shoulder of a woman. Morpheus later presents the rabbit hole metaphor when presenting Neo with the opportunity to discover the truth about the Matrix. After that, the references stopped.

That was also around the time the movie started sucking, as I remember. I once summarized the Matrix as philosophy and extreme action thrown into one pot. Sadly, a little beyond a third of the first movie, they seemed to concentrate too much on the latter. As for the other two movies, I dont even intend to see them.

You're doing yourself a favor there. :) Still, I thought the action in the first one was excellent for its time - it certainly has influenced many action movies since. And you have to admit that (if by chance you hadn't been tipped off to it in advance) the big twist was pretty good. :)

An amusing surprise all around, to be sure. What's Ash Lael's title, out of curiosity and inveterate laziness?

EDIT: Ah, of course it's just "BoE Posse."

I like the custom titles. "A Special Date" I don't really understand, but I like "White Rabbit". It can be seen on any level you choose to see it.

To be given a custom title is to be favored in a mod's eyes, though there is the problem of an inability to progress to high ranking titles. Although there are the number of posts, and the custom ones make you unique.

Refresh my memory; how many of those who've been (more or less) blessed with a custom title are girls? I'm just curious, of course.

Sadly, gender is not included in the profile, or I would know. However, I am sure that the number, when held against the proportion of female:male members in total, does not differ much...

What I do know is that you are currently ranked the 67th most prolific poster of Spiderweb of all time. Congrats! :D

I can also start throwing some postage statistics around.

Total posts: 210492 as of this afternoon.
Total members: 5569 (undeleted)
Mean posts: 37.8
10% of members share 90% of posts.

How are those for starters? :)

The entire list

Edit: 24 members have received an individual custom title of their own (27 if you count Cartographer, and 33 if you count Cartographer and BoE Posse). 42 accounts have been banned. 13 accounts have been canned.

Saunders, Rache, and Riibu have custom titles. Are there any others of the female persuasion with titles?

Alec has only used his Custer account since before I got here. In the PPP1 archives somewhere, he made the change and has never looked back.
