hmm, it seems that in my brief lapse from this site it'e become far more... harsh. So I must ask why... why Banjo, must we hurt the ones we love?

and btw, nephilims vs. slitherzakis was an RP while I was last on here... I think we've already spelled out the outcome or am I wrong?

Heh, well the deed is done. I have a new message. And belive it or not I did have it all written down and what not... and that is gone. Poor paper. So all I have is my phone. and being as it is that I do not have the (whatever sounds good and also means I'm lazy as hell) to find another phone to call my phone and listen to my own voicemail simply so that I can type it here. I'll leave my number:)

1 931 505 0544.

please if you find my credit card number and what not from this... no more then 20$ a week. then it's fine:)

And Mar, it seems in the wee bit of time since I was last on here you've become amazingly popular, eh? :P

Wait...he's an Ausie? :P or...a pirate?

And I bloody ran into one like that before! Argh! for some reason though my phone'll take out any space in a message long enough for someone to belive that. it sucks. I have no idea why either:)

I'm looking for a new voicemail message. And I'm wondering exactly what to do with it beyond the normal and rather drab "hello, this is Cale, how may I help you" etc etc. Anyone have any idea? or have you heard any good ones in your many years of life? I'd be rather thankful:P

Some I"ve seen that I rather like:D

"Prepare for alpha test of Beep Software revision 1.05. Counting down to test: 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..."

"Don't you do it! Don't you dare! I don't want to hear it! Don't you beep! If you beep, I'll... don't even think about it!... Don't...!"

"Hi. This is John's answering machine. He's not here, but I'm open to suggestions."

"Hi! John's answering machine is broken. This is his refrigerator. Please speak very slowly, and I'll stick your message to myself with one of these magnets."

"MacIntosh Plus with MacIntalk program:) Hello, it's obvious you have bad timing, because nobody is home. Please leave your name, telephone number, and a brief message in a voice similar to mine, and your call will be returned as soon as humanly possible."

"Thank you for calling 217-2962. If you wish to speak to Tim, push 1 on your touch tone phone now. If you wish to speak to Lynn, push 2 on your touch tone phone now. If you have a wrong number, push 3 on your touch tone phone now. All of this button pushing doesn't do anything, but it is a good way to work off anger, and it makes us feel like we have a big time phone system."

"(combine the one on top of this one or some'n)Hi, you've reached the home of George Ledec. If you are calling to collect a student loan, gambling debt, or other obligation, please press 1 and hang up now. If you are selling any product or service, or requesting charitable donations, please press 2 and hang up now. Otherwise, press 3 and leave your message now. Pressing 3 is optional."

"This is not an answering machine--this is a telepathic thought-recording device. After the tone, think about your name, your reason for calling, and a number where I can reach you, and I'll think about returning your call."

"I can't come to the phone now, so if, well, actually, I CAN come to the phone now, I mean, like, I'm at the phone NOW, recording this message, but I'm doing this NOW, while you're listening to it LATER, except for you I guess it's NOW, like, when you're listening to it... I mean, like, wait, gosh. This is so confusing."

heh, well now I do not, as of now, have a computer of my own. but being of the military persuasion find it easy enough to walk into someone elses room and jump on their game. Considering that the rate I'm in is comprised highly of nerds and lowly of a few lost rednecks who didn't understand that electronics technicians would predominantly be dealing with ... computers? ... So I have a lot of friends who play and have made a few of them on the game as well. which kinda pushes me towards the game a little more. But in truth I was thinking about getting a computer as is. now all I need to have would be suggestiong:) I hope this will not beget an apple/ibm war, but hey. which type of computer company, publisher, maker, system, etc etc etc do you all prefer?

And belive it or not a monthly subscription to wow saves me a bit of money. otherwise I'd be sitting at home with my trusty ps2 on which I can finish a game in 4 days or so if it's a fps, shooter, etc. RPG's have gotten to good for that. and that means that rather then buying a 50$game every week I spent 15 a month on a subscription. soo it works for me:)

And as per photography, I've never really gotten into it. heh. My mum has a beautiful little camera that I've been nagging her to send out to me but it's not digital in the least.

An element? erm...ya know I'd really have no idea what I could possible be out there. unless there's an element that could be expressed as " ... " then I'd probably be that one. eh?

As to the upgrade argument, it would help if I had a computer to begin with, ya know:P and howdy Spring, how ya doing? :)

And how are the RP threads going on here anywyas?

Has anyone, perhaps, tried the game World of Warcraft? I'm currently in much debate as to whether or not to actually pay multi-hundred (1300ishy) $s for a computer simply to play the 50$game, eh? Do you see what I mean. No doubt a computer will aid in many things...typeing...err...myspace? but other then that... Is it right to buy an entire computer for a game? Who's got some thoughts on this.

Btw, does anyone notice that I make random-ass comebacks on this site? :)

ooc.) Alrighty, you guys seem well aquainted with RPGing at least. I could have gotten myself into a much worse situation. So, he's a meaningless post that will at least put me into the story.

ic.) Patchabell rolled over in his sleep and promptly fell of whatever it was that he had been curled up on. He snorted when he hit the floor, his eyes snapping open to take in where he was. THere wasn't much...

He seemed to be in some sort of storage cell. By the way the room moved and the lights were shifting he was either under the influence of some drug or in a boat. With his luck it was probably both. He sat up and rubbed his posterior realizing with a slight shock that he was bare-ass naked. This could be easily overlooked though due to his rather plush, if not tarnished with several hours of rat infested sleep on top of a box, coat of fur.

With a grumble he pushed himself to his feet and made his way uneasily toward the door of the cell. He began to remember where he was now, and it didn't make things look any better. For one thing this was, or at least was in the past tense, his bloody boat. So what the hell was he doing locked in one of his own storage cells???

He gave two quick taps on the door. After a moment or two a tiny window slid back revealing a rather pale face behind it. A shakeing voice said "Y-Y-Yes sir?"

"Harzz...m'ega..?" Said Patchabell, his tongue feeling unusually heavy.

A faint expression of confusion crossed the lads face which only added to the already scared features. He lowered his voice and glanced around, "I'm sorry sir, but...but I"m not supposed to be talking to you. We're declaring mutiny and I'm makeing sure as you don't get away" These last words seemed to bost his confidence and he was so brave as to jingle the little loup of keys that he held at the window.

"Meh...Lad," Patchabells voice was smooth, almost melodic in a way that rolled, almost a pur at times, "I know you'r heart's not in this, now why don't you let your old cappie out of this li'l hole and we can see about fixing things up here, hey?" He smiled. The effect only lessoned by the slightly protruding fangs.

THe boys face when white, and he dropped the ring of keys. "I! I can't do that! He said if I even talke- gasp!" and with that the little window slammed **** and the jingle of keys could be heard fleeing quickly down the cramped hall outside.

Patchabell sat sedately on an old box and stared at the opposite wall. Perhaps his luck had run out? He contended himself by demoloshing a handy plank of wood into so many splinters as he waited.

ooc. Still looking for some connection? :D

...Honestly I have no idea. I just thought he was nifty because he was one of the few monsters that could stand up to a high level party for a little while with no problem. That and the added fact that he's a red dude with no shirt could be interpreted as a plus, don't cha think?

Yes! yes kidding:D meh, people are so serious. I was just trying to find anything that would make my character fit in. It just dosn't look right to have him wander into a mountain for no reason what so ever...maybe an underground prison or some such thing? Just...work with me people:D

err, subteranian waterways? :D
but alright...a character. Hmm, suppose that one of them might be slightly handy seeing as this is an rpg. But I hope you guys won't mind a rather brief summary of him. Don't have the time or my own computer for anything complex right now considering I left it in Tennessee with all my previous rpg stuff on it but I'll see what I can do.

Name: Patchabell Gannon
Sex: Male
Age: 37-45 or thereabouts
Race: Demi-Human, Feline
First Glance: A fair sized figure of a man with dark fun and yellow eyes. His once lusterous fir is now light with age, a slight salt and pepper effect speckle over his ears and the backs of his hands. Other then that he looks not younger then 25. The agility of a cat and the overactive life of a human have kept him in rather good shape. Yet a line of wrinkles at the corners of his eyes denotes the inevitable onslaught of age on his panter like features and given him a slight beer belley from too muc mead.
He wears the blue and gold encrusted coat of a noble, tall boots and a tri-tipped hat. A pair of loose fitting, fadded white pants and a rather puffey shirt complete the outfit. At his waist a scratched and dinged cutlass dangles from a dogeared looking leather belt strapped with numerous baggies and pouches. Numerous daggers are more then likley under the coat.
All in all he's the purfect pirate. (heh...I make a funney... Purrrfect...cuz'...he's a cat...ya know... sigh ...why do I try to entertain you people? :D )
Job: Swash buckeler

All in all that's it really. Nothing huge of complex like before...just a guy...seems nice, no? :D In truth I didn't have time. But he'll do. Have to flesh him out as I play though. So. Who's game for a subteranian pirate/ghost ship about now? :D

heh, fun fun:D

An exceptionally skilled proctologist decided that he hated the life style that he was in. " A man can only take so much of this" and with those last words he left his office never to be seen there again and moved to california to work as a mechanic at a motercycle shop.

But he found that he had no idea how to do anything on a bike let alone fix it. So he decided to take a class. Well, after 3 months of hard work and labor he comes to his final exam.

The instructor says to him, "alright, the gradeing is this, 50 points for takeing it apart, and 50 points for putting it back together...begin" With that the ex-doctor-not-biker sets to work dismantiling the machine and putting it back together again in amazing order.

At the end when he receives his score he is confused...he walks up to the instructor and asks... "sir, could you explain this to me...I thought that the 50 and the 50 would equal 100, yet you gave me a 200?" THe instructor looks at him a bit curiously..."well," he says "I gave you 100 points for doing an outstanding job. Then another 100 for doing it through the tail-pipe."

If anyone's bothered by this just let me know I"ll take it off...but rather funney all the same:D forgive whatever bad spelling you may find please:D

Hezah! a reply!

Well...being in the military I feel obliged to opt for a bit of laxness regarding gun control.

My opinion of a purfect world? Such things as guns, missiles, bombs, etc. were never brought into existance and people could still prove their metal through a class on the field of battle rather then being so far away as to make no difference.

But since such a thing is non-sensical by far I'd have to stay with the idea that gun control, while a noble effort, is widely pointless simply because what's the logic behind limiting the "good" (and I use that word with caution meaning simply the opposite of the following people) people when the "bad" people have no reagard to the rules put in place? It's like giveing someone a butter knife and another one a claymore...not to much logic there.

On another hand I can see how tightening the restriction would prevent people who normally would have no business (children, etc.) being anywhere near a gun from haveing a chance at one. And THAT is where the true benefit of gun control is. Keeping people alive is worth a little something no?

So I'd have to agree... A limited amount of gun control, however annoying, is quite an appropriate thing...
