I'm aware of that. I heard somwhere that Goliath, of David and Goliath fame was a descendant of a Nephilim.

Because it was old news before you even got here. Exile Nephilim have been around since 1994, and the Bible has been around longer. You'd be optimistic to think that you were the first to notice this after 12 years.

And I bet someone noticed that the canned name Mycroft has literary significance as well. Oh blast. :P

Is Toledo really holy? I've read the Bible front to back and never noticed mention of it, perhaps it is in the lost gospels?

Nephilims isn't a word. Nephil is singular, nephilim has the plural ending in Hebrew, and nephilim is pluralized in Hebrew and English. Nephils makes sense, though.

—Alorael, who wonders if the results of nephils vs. sliths would be different from the results of nephilim vs. slithzerikai.

No-one, and absolutely no-one, predicted the Spanish Inquisition. Not even the Bible. *nod*

Apparently not.

Dikiyoba came up with two startling conclusions today. First, Geneforge is actually the combination of the words "gene" and "forge." Second, nephils vs. sliths and nephilim vs. slithzerikai would give the same results, but nephils vs. slithzerikai is a whole new battlefield.

hmm, it seems that in my brief lapse from this site it'e become far more... harsh. So I must ask why... why Banjo, must we hurt the ones we love?

and btw, nephilims vs. slitherzakis was an RP while I was last on here... I think we've already spelled out the outcome or am I wrong?

Please, no more Nephil vs. Slith. Once was more than enough.

It wasn't an RP, it was an argument. A lot of argument. And it was inconclusive.

Why does Nephils vs Sliths get all the nostalgia and loathing? What about Giants vs Trogs?

Dikiyoba has failed to add anything new to this discussion. Oh well.

The Giant vs. Trog debate gets less loathing because it is shorter and more pertinent. After all, the Giants and Trogs were trying to wipe each other out. The correct answer of course is neither, since they were both erased from existence by my little band of adventurers in E3.

*unfolds a petition*

On behalf of the Nephilim and Slithzerikai, that is to say, every single Nephil and every single Slithzerikai who signed this complaint, I would like it noted that this and no other spelling is correct (although Slith is sometimes used in colloquial language).

Also, Nephilim win.
