I guess if Geneforge continues to sell well, then 2006 may see another one. Maybe if A4 sells well it'll also see an A5. Wouldn't that get people talking? -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Thuryl, the only Australian beer I've tasted is Fosters. How would you say it stands in comparison with other Australian beers? Stuggie, if you try Scotch, I recommend anything that is 12 years and either dry or on the rocks. Some people like it with soda or coke/pepsi. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Granny's Waffles are better. They are made with her heart. (I mean, granny heart is bled over the mass to give it more feeling, then it is cut into little pieces and these are spread all over the waffle for more love. The only problem is the rocks of cholesterol that one sometimes chews on. If they harden enough they may break a tooth. Don't worry, she has plenty of hearts she still from all the little children she captures in the street, so it's not like anybody is killing granny or anything.) -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Snow. Please. I'm sick and tired of this "moderate" weather down here. Most year long 20-30 degrees. Sometimes 30-35 (40 maybe once a year). Rain or no rain. Bah. Anybody wants to change places? Apply within. (Incidentally: Why is Flanders so bad, Mind?) (Skipping Simpsons joke.) Don't worry if Hitch is good or not. It's popular, it's a Romantic film. Might make for a good date film. . . although. . . since you already know her, you might want to do something a little different than the American Tradition of dinner/movie, besides movies suck in general. Maybe you can go to some cool spot that you think (or better yet, know) that she might like. Not IHOP, though IHOP rules and all. But not IHOP. I've heard, don't know nothing about this, that setting can help make an evening more romantic. Or, you can rent and watch "Braindead" which is among the 5 best boy meets girl, falls in love and lives happily ever after films ever made, according to some people. Agh. Just skip the movie and go someplace nice. (I agree with just about 100% of what Stuggie's said. Too lazy to quote it.) (oh, and I claim immaculate contraception.) -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Congrats Thuryl, from your second (or first?) victim. I pretty much just tortured the language a little more than I normally do. So, David, you guessed for yourself. Seilike. . . so you were Rebecca. Well, I think I was at the bottom, scores wise. Oh, well. Mung: that Mexican beer you were talking about, Corona? Or Dos X. I think it may be Corona. Local: Polar (sold in some places of the U.S and Europe). Guinnes. Several kinds of ales. Mostly micro breweries. Scotch. Whiskey too. Aguardiente. (we are the first consumer of Scotch in Latin America (we call it whiskey, but it's mostly Red Label, some Vat 69 if your pocket is empty. Something Special is also popular, Chivas Regal as well. But R.L is the most sold, perhaps followed, sometimes surpassed briefly, by Vat 69)) As for cocktails. Don't ask what's in them. (Venezuelan Rum is supposed to be good. I haven't taste it in over 16 years, so I don't know.) Hate wine, but sometimes I've no other choice. Brandy is good. Bourbon is better. Vodka a thousand times better than Tequila. But, if I ingest any, pure. None of that fruity crap. Absinthe: it is sold in a few places. Anise I like a lot, but once in a while. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

The white rabbit may be seen as a fertility symbol. I think the White Rabbit in "Alice in. . ." was a herald. A fertile herald who is good with procedure. Agh. As for the very important date, what is the date?. Is it a date as in calendar, a date as in a person (romantic or not), a date as in a fruit. The rabbit also symbolizes humility sometimes. In old christian themes it also expressed the whole idea of rebirth. Furthermore, let's not forget about the Rabbit in the Chinese horoscope. People born under that sign are said to posses intelligence, wisdom and understanding. Years of the rabbit, supposedly, tend to be years of diplomacy, understanding, emphasis on human rights and all that jazz. They are also difficult to deceive, and excellent judges of character. For the Buddhist it's a symbol of self-sacrifice and, back to the christians it's also a symbol of alertness. But it doesn't seem likely Kel was born under the year of the Rabbit (75 or 87, or 63 for that matter). Maybe it all has to do with golf and dates and pills and drugs and importance and fertility and. Ah. Aran is pregnant and is going to have Kel's baby. No. Wait. Will. Or maybe both will donate sperm to some bank in hope that the future of the human race will be spread with their genetic code. K&A? Why are those two letters important? Kiekegaard & Andersen? How are they connected? Is that why Alice is involved if at all? But. . . it boggles the mind. Er (not Ur!)okay. Bye. It is indeed!!! Exile is, and should always be, the name a Citizen is given once his or her or its posts reach the required level. Avernum, after all, is just a word in a dead language which, more or less and academic disgruntilities aside, means the same thing. Exile. I will sell my soul to keep that name there if necessary. I will even parade naked in the next super bowl while a score of viagrized mandrils honking their pink and beige clown horns chase me. I do solemnly swear. Exile. (Demonslayer. I agree. Also, the bolding of the words emphasize that fact.) Northern tip of South America, about an hour from the Caribbean sea, with just a cool mountain and some annoying roads in the middle, in a nice Valley 1000 meters from the sea called Caracas (not Crackass, and no, it isn't a card from Magic: The Gathering though that city looks much nicer than this.) Sixth floor. Apartment 62. The relative position of this room is facing North, but my computer is on a desk facing East, the screen faces West. It's 1:10 am. over here. The sky is mostly cloudy, but thanks the gods it hasn't rained lately (we had some bad floods that were bad, though nowhere near tsunami level.) Oh, and there's a huge indian spear. a huge indian bow and some arrows on the wall in front, which is what we use in case burglars ever come in, which so far they haven't. Good thing, since if they did, I doubt those things would be any good against the wonders of modern weaponry. Chao. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Congrats Demonslayer!!! Remember it's not the time it takes you, but the quality of the posts that took you there. (now if you can turn that century into a hundred zombie centurions you may take over the world. maybe not. maybe it's not even worth a try. maybe it will just prove why latin is a dead language that would only be spoken by zombie centurions. maybe i should just stop this babbling. yup.) -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |
