The original Exile series is worth shelling out the cash for. It's some good olde school fun. -------------------- It slices, it dices, and yes, makes french fries in 2,089 different ways! Posts: 19 | Registered: Thursday, June 19 2003 07:00 |

Question for all you Galactic Core players out there (and I know there may be up to two!) - Which would you rather do (1) Play a game of Galactic Core or (2) Butter up your left leg and walk into a hyena cage? I'm going to take my chances with the Hyenas - shoot, I've got TWO legs! Z -------------------- Pan Lever: Seventeen apple roving mirror moiety. Of turned quorum jaggedly the. Blue? That depends on how long I'd have to spend doing each. A little bit of GC doesn't hurt. It's just staying awake that's hard. —Alorael, who likes both his legs, thank you very much. Besides, butter is disgusting and difficult to wash off, so unless the hyenas get the whole leg, it'll mean hours of washing. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Unlike certain more openly malignant computer programs, GC does not interfere with your computer's performance and does not prevent you from removing it. So yes, I'd prefer to play a crappy game for a while rather than lose my leg, which is, all things considered, quite hard to regrow, unlike sanity. The question remains, however: Would hyenas actually eat a human leg if it is covered with butter? -------------------- Encyclopaedia • Archives • Members • RSS [Topic / Forum] • Blog • Polaris • NaNoWriMo Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair. Probably not. -------------------- "Oh, North Wind, why frighten others? In Nature's family all are brothers. Puff and blow and wheeze and hiss; You can't frighten Shingebiss. Thanks for the screen. Without it I'd've thought you were talking about Galactic Core. Ah... the land where my home is. -------------------- quote:Random Jack Vance Quote Manual Generator Apparatus (Cugel's Saga) Posts: 604 | Registered: Sunday, June 20 2004 07:00 |

Hyenas eat carrion, so I imagine they wouldn't mind butter. They may go for your leg anyway, but I imagine they'd be more likely to go for the throat, like dogs would, and then eat all of you, buttered leg included. The question then would be: would they save the leg for last? I would rather play GC myself. Posts: 2242 | Registered: Saturday, April 10 2004 07:00 |

Well…why would they make a distiction? Or would they? These are questions that I've come to a realization about: I can't answer them. I didn't get any dumber by looking at the screen shot, I got dumber by reading the hawk queen's post. -------------------- "Oh, North Wind, why frighten others? In Nature's family all are brothers.
