It doesn't make any sense for the entire area to go hostile.

This was sort of done in GF3. It you attacked that town on the Isle of Spears(forget the name) when you're a loyalist, the Mooralis guy doesn't fight you-he just pleads for his life

It seems to be based either on the Loyalist or the Neutral ending. The overall effects of both are more or less the same, so it could be either.

And as for this bit about the Awakened, the fact is, while their ideals of a perfect world are nice, but unrealistic. Even with G2, the Awakened still had to fight(if you do their ending). The fact is, people are unreasonable. War is sometimes unavoidable.

Alternatively, you could just each have a seperate save file on the same game. Although then I guess you couldn't be on at the same time. Which would put you in the situation I have with my brother :(

Yes, I've been there. Essentially, Rahul's defenses detect the orb and paralyse you. They throw you in the prison. However, avoiding the prison is a bad idea if your a rebel since you learn of Rahuls healing magic and can disrupt it when he tries to use it. If you don't, your in trouble. Although you can sometimes kill him before he uses the magic.

You can still kill the Twin Minds and get the experience AND help the rebels, getting the benefits of both.

To avoid Greta or Alwan leaving you in Geneforge Series

Have you changed the endings scripts? If you keep both people at the end of the game this could cause problems. The game might try to load both Greta and Alwan's versions of the ending. Alternatively, depending on how the code is written, it could also remove that section of the ending text, although I'm guessing that the code would check to see if you had one, and not see if you didn't have the other, so it may be the former. I only know how to write Java, and in a very limited capacity, so I can't be sure.

I don't think it is intentional.

I think Jeff simply forgot about editting that script when he was doing the sequels of GF1.

I highly doubt that. Not every little feature is written in the manuel. The fact is, Jeff put this in to discourage people from making the game too easy by focusing in one stat. Otherwise, your dexterity could be so high that you could become invincible by virtue of being untouchable, or could have ridiculously powerful creations that would essentially make the game no challenge.

In the recipes list you say the All Protector is from unmelting ice and a perfect shield, but according to Hawthorne you need solidified flame as well.

Other than that, its looking pretty awesome

I'm playing the loyal path on my second file, and I killed the spawners, but I have no option to tell Diwaniya. I don't know if this matters, but I didn't find the power source of the spawners(i didn't know what it was). I just killed them the old fashioned way. However, whenever it said "the spawner gets a power surge" this error would come up...something about a bad text for the spawner. And the pylons are still alive, if that matters.

Shaper Camp in Geneforge Series

My little brother needs some help. He is on the Isle of Spears playing as a loyalist shaper. He convinced the shaper camp to help him invade Benniri-Eo. Upon reaching the vat area, he found that the shapers had been discovered and had moved. He's also had difficulty progressing through the area because of the poison pools. I've only recently started my second file(I played as a rebel first) and haven't yet progressed to that point. So, where are the shapers? And can you turn the pools off?

Easter Eggs in Geneforge Series

Intro Screen Easter Egg in GF1:
When you open the game, while choosing new game, load game, etc, you'll notice that creations occasionally appear in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. If you click on the platform, it will make a new creation. If you click on a creation, it will die. By getting 8 of the same creation, you get a funny message at the bottom right corner of the screen. There is a different message for each creation type.

You manipulate creations in a similar way in GF3. Click on the ceneter of the screen to create them, and to kill them, click on the runes when one comes near. Sadly, the runes randomly activate themselves, so reproducing the easter egg will take a lot of time, if it's even possible.

What I'd like to see is more creations and spells. Now when I say more creations, I'm not looking for something stronger than what we have. I'm looking for more variety. I mean, add more creations that are equal in power to something like vlish and fyoras, etc. The same goes for spells. Also, the ability to create serviles should be implemented. As well, you should have the ability to buy equipment for joinable characters. You should be able to equip them with weapons and armour, etc. As well, when one of your party members leaves at the harmony docks, I thought it might have been cool if you ran into them later. Like for example, Greta could have joined the rebels, and then if you joined the shapers, and you saw her....well it'd be real awkward wouldn't it? :P lol seriously, maybe you could fight. That'd be awesome. Meh. But whatever. Jeff's games will always be top of my list anyway.
